Interesting thing, Lazy actually did get drunk for the drunk bit. Highly suggest some of the Solarlight clips video, he is the reason why "demoknight tf2" meme exists. TF2tubers lore is pretty interesting actually, it's like a really big family

Also to describe what Demoknight is basically think Reinhardt from Overwatch but he gets stronger with each elimination and can also technically fly

11:18 This scene has a bit of a fun fact behind it, back when this specific how it feels video was made/came out, there was a bit of a popular meme in the TF2 community that was just taking the meet the team videos, and making them EXTREMELY verbose, using the same text to speech voice that is used in this clip/bit.

Yea as you could see demoman is a really strong class, but in the hands of someone new it could be a little frustrating getting the timing of detonating/managing your sticky bombs as well as knowing where to shoot your pipe bombs to hit a direct hit on moving targets, because pipes if they hit any surfaces other than a player or building (sentries, dispensers etc) they just roll on the ground and detonate on their own after some seconds, not dealing nearly the full damage of a direct impact. In short get your aiming good with demo. Love your reactions btw ❤

So when he called that one engineer the "Gibus Engineer" he's referring to the hat that player was wearing, the Ghostly Gibus. It's a common hat to see because it's one of the few cosmetic items that free to play players have access to. That, the pyrovision goggles (which actually alter things like textures and sound effects when equipped), and the mercenary badge you get when you create your TF2 profile (the bronze ones) are typically the signs of a free to play player. Not always, but more often than not they are. Gibus and Pyrovision combined are also commonly referred to as "Gibusvision"

Also one other TF2 UA-camr I think you’ll like is Soundsmith. He is my personal favorite TF2uber and has some really funny videos. He also has his own series a little like How it Feels called “A Mann’s Guide” where instead of discussing classes as a whole, he discusses specific weapons that don’t always see a lot of play and shows the advantages and disadvantages of said weapons. But in a very funny package with great editing and SFM work, just like LazyPurple. As for some of his more casual videos, my personal favorites are “Trashmann Rising”, “The Original Casual Meta,” “Funny Ragdoll,” and “Cursed Spy Behavior”

The Demoman's default melee is a bottle, though he does have unlockable swords and a battle axe
Since you seem to like some of the cosmetics TF2 has, i'd definitely recommend soundsmith's Hat and Misc stereotypes series. He also has one for weapons, but if i remember right, some of his weapons stereotype videos are a bit outdated...

Definitely more of a pick class especially with the overrated Eyelander and annoying Half Zatoichi.
As a medic main demomen are essentialy is one of the best classes to uber especially to give crits too

I know you already got a lot of videos on the list but my recommendations would be my favourite spy videos "Spy is the Weakest Class in TF2" by HintShot and it's sequel "Spy is weak and that's okay". I advise you that these videos aren't really about funny stuff and rather a discussion of game design. They're educational and offer insight into the game and the community so that's the reason I recommend them. But I have to say that if you don't like technical and informative stuff they're not for you. But if you DO like them, you would also like "The Art of the Backstab" also by HintShot, although that one is even more technical. Keep up the great work!
PS: I don't know if someone has suggested "How To Fight Every Class In TF2 (As Engineer) (And Win!)" by Uncle Dane, but if someone did, I actually WOULDN'T recommend that you watch it. Not because it's a bad video or is misleading or anything, but rather that the amount of information and understanding required to watch it is enormous, so it would probably just be meaningless technobabble to you. If you decide to watch it anyway, I'd advise that you hold it for when you've watched more videos about TF2, especially if they're educational like Soundsmith, SolarLight or even other videos by Uncle Dane.

so fun little detail, the difference between an explosive ragdolling or gibbing on kill is a hidden hp bar that's equal to 10% of the target's max hp, least from what i've seen in testing. So your explosive attack has to deal 10% or more damage in overkill damage to gib an enemy upon killing them.

I can see why! It looks like a great class!
No one class is the best in Tf2. Soldier is the best to start with but it takes practice to rocket jump and aim rockets, scouts speed and dps is balanced by his really low health, pyro was a broken class due to janky flame hit boxes but they fixed that plus some classes have weapons that can douse flames, spy is the hardest to play due to how players are already familiar with his tricks, and medic's healing can make him the god of the team but the other team will focus him because of that.
also most demoknights always have a dangeresque too(obtained from poker night at the inventory which is unavailable) the bounty hat and the bootleggers
they are armed with a tideturner and either a stock or golden pan
also for some reason the pan gets a random crit everytime same applies to the übersaw
Demo is very powerful when he is fully loaded. He can delete the whole team with it with only limitations of being only effective at mid ranges and close can be an issue so as long range. And due to he have such high capacity of explosives, he have a long reload time.

Im surprised you chose to add OW fan in the title but youve literally never brought up OW. Kinda thought youd make comparisons like how Junkrat is based off demo, Pharah off Soldier, Torbjourn off Engi etc.
