This iRVision video is a step-by-step guide to setting up a bin picking cell in RoboGuide. Bin picking is a complex process and the setup required is similarly complex. The topics that will be covered in this video include how to add and setup a iRVision 3DA (Area Sensor) in the virtual world and how to teach a basic 3D vision process. How to define Interference Avoidance parameters, basic setup of the Part List Manager and Teach Pendant programming is also covered. The goal of this video is to have a functioning cell at the end that shows the basic functionality of the system and provides a starting point for exploring more complicated bin picking systems.
