Zeller actually got drafted because of his athleticism, idk where you got that he was "unathletic". He had a Top 5 vert in his class and had the highest vert for a big man in the previous decade. Also had agility and speed.

He's still very crafty, but he can't create his own shot the way he used to be able to, without having a defender hanging all over him. The dude was legit on his way to superstardom. I remember watching the first round series Cavs/Pacers in 2018. Oladipo looked like a top 5 player in the league. And his transformation from the prior season to that current season was insane. He was a clear cut number 1 option and there was no question. So it's sad to see. Really is.

I doubt if he is any more than 30 lbs heavier now than when he came into the league.
usually if oyu are drafting top 5, you are 2 or 3 players away from solid playoff contenders. why these guys wouldnt take a shot on giannis is a shock to me. i think Chet Holmgren will have a similar career path to Giannis, maybe more assist oriented though.
