On top of that PS4 games do not take advantage of the benefits fast loading of an SSD. If the PS5 is designed around SSD storage it can take better advantage of the loading. The USB bottleneck will remove any benefit and you'd be better off just using a 7200 rpm usb drive.

Do you have to have an internal ssd on ps4 to get a external ssd work?
Can you use T7 TOUCH work on PS4
Okay so if it takes 2 to 3 minutes for me to install a brand new game like Burnout Paradise remastered with this new terabyte hard drive portable thing will it make it faster for me to install physical games on my PS4 because I don't trust buying digital games the reason being is because I just talked to Sony not too long ago because my PS Plus Membership expired and all those games that I downloaded when I had PS plus is not available anymore until I pay for PS plus again
Will a usb 3.1 gen 2 work on ps4 slim?
Can you do the same with usb
One of the things they say about the PS5 is it’s going to be faster than a PS4 Pro even with an SSD
Or just install an ssd in your PS4?
Hi are the fallout. Games coming to the Nintendo switch
Question is is it better to do internal or external ssd
Should I buy a PS4 or should I wait for 5
You could but a PS4 now for like $299 or $250 to enjoy the amazing library of games. It will still get support after PS5 launches.
If you want to buy a PS5 it will play the next gen games as well as the current generation because of backwards compatibility, but its gonna be really expensive. Like $650+.
@@sauraavjayrajh8754 you don't know that it's going to be 650+ .. don't say that it will be
Sauraav Jayrajh We don’t know how much the PS5 is going to cost. It’s only a rumor that it will cost $600-$650 and even then, that isn’t a strong rumor. Sony already confirmed earlier this year that the console will be “price appealing” and $600-$650 isn’t price appealing for the majority of consumers.
Wait for the PS6
@@cecilk729 @cecil kozuh and @PHXNTXM you're both probably right. It was just my guess based on Sony's specs for the console. They're gonna have to make it less otherwise it's really gonna hurt sales.
