One of my favorite songs when I was 13. This is the kind of things which really marks a generation. I'm 19 now, and I think that hipsters' music can't even really face the 2000's music.
I just turned 16 and I don't see what the deal is about people singing and rapping about ass, money and drugs, like really, why would you listen to that... But yeah, I fully agree with you.
I'm 26 right now. I remember being in my first rock band at 12 years old in 2006 (it was my brother on bass, a friend of us on drums, and me on guitar and vocals), and we used to copy these guy's moves in this video when we were playing this very song. Good old times.
Listening to this song as my 10yr old son walks into the room. He asked me who this was and if it just came out... no little dude sit down and i will tell you when i was 16...... this song has not aged one bit

Step back and see
Stop thinking about yourself, start thinking about?
There's no money, there's no possession
Only obsession, I don't need that shit
Take my money, take my possession, take my obsession
I don't need that shit
Because everything is nothing
And emptiness isn't everything
This reality is really just a fucked up dream
With the flesh and the blood that you call your soul
Flip it inside out, it's a big black hole
Take your money burn it up like an asteroid
Possession, though you're never gonna feel the void
Take it away and learn your best lesson
The heart, the soul, the life, the passion
There's no money, there's no possession
Only obsession, I don't need that shit
Take my money, take my possession, take my obsession
I don't need that shit
Money, possession, obsession
Present yourself, press your clothes, comb your hair
And clock in
You just can't win, just can't win
And the things you own, own you
No!
Take my money, take my possession, take my obsession
I don't need that shit
Fuck your money, fuck your possession
Fuck your obsession, I don't need that shit
Money, possession, obsession, I don't need that shit

@@peachygoogles6359 This song is pure hypocrisy. It sounds great though.
Krille Krille in the year 2000 when it became famous to be a re-write of a song from 1998 doubt he had that much ...
still one of my favs!!
2023 and counting, papa roach was one of the bands that made me fall in love with nu metal
Still absolutely filled with raw facts. So many years later and every beat and word still resonates. Papa Roach is timeless my dude.
This song is one of my favourites.
Ayee. And glad you took the time to take a low shot at me.
my fav too..
X2
If You are watching this in 2023, I consider You a friend
Listening in 2024, I may be 53 but I like what I like 🤘
One of the best technically and artistically made video of that age
"I teach you the best lesson: the hearth, the soul, the life, the passion"
Nuevamente felicidades
Such a relevant song still. Love the message. Takes my back to my childhood.
From a Sébastien to another, i couldnt have said it better myself. We got this, i feel it.
this CD and Getting away with murder. oh my god, so good!
this song is legendary
Man the beginning of the 2000's were really something else.
Yep, artists were artists before...
Your extra chromosome must be kicking in because there's not just rap and rock dumbshits
One of my favorite songs when I was 15. I'm 29 now and I think that hipsters' music can't even really face the 1990's music ;)

lol was just about to point out this song was 1999 :)
This is now 20 years old...still has that kick!

2020 Hello 😊
Алексей Диброва l
And it always will
Damn its still freaking sounds great!!!
This song and album both is masterpiece. Doesn't get old. Fuckin' rocks
20 years later I am still amazed about the kickass moves of the bass player. Always loved the way he moves here.
I'm 26 right now. I remember being in my first rock band at 12 years old in 2006 (it was my brother on bass, a friend of us on drums, and me on guitar and vocals), and we used to copy these guy's moves in this video when we were playing this very song. Good old times.

wow i was just 11 but you already have a 10 y/o? i feel like i won't be able to have one lol, for some reason all my relationships just lasta a few months and all my friends and mates are either married or expecting lol
@@sergiosierra6849 Auch, that sounds bad... but atleast you get some relationships, so far I just seem doomed to be forever alone :O But, hopefully that will change drastically the next years, or months
