Megan, praying for your mama and your entire family, still 🙏 I can only imagine how different it is for your mama and you guys. It was hard when we lost mom, last year but by the grace of God, we have bonded in such a beautiful way with our daddy. I moved back home the day mom passed and and it’s been bittersweet. He’s been my rock and I like to think I’m his haha we’re like 2 peas in a pod. We are all so blessed to have our families near us.
I been looking at homesteading, myself! The Lord has really laid it on my heart, lately. He only knows what we face but I feel it can’t be good.
God bless mama. You girls are angels for helping her through this rough time. I know it’s hard for all of you but that’s what love of family and Gods blessings is all about.

I lost my mom unexpectedly August 25,2023 8 days before my birthday and buried her two days before my birthday ❤ 7 months ago ❤ I know your pain hun ❤. Chloe and Colton are getting so big! Lol I’m with the chickens and just nature in general 😂 Yes bring on summer already!!

Or grow bags were fine. Things grew with out Rick in the bottom. But we used bags of soil and fertilizer. We did not just get plain dirt. I like regular raise bed better. But that worked. This year we have raised beds that are metal. But the grow bags worked last year for a quick garden.

We’re on vacation in Slade KY, all the trees and flowers blooming make me so happy. I’m from Michigan we are at least 5 weeks behind. So to come here every yr is so awesome. We take our Jeep through the dbbb. It’s a really fun adventure that’s forsure. Happy belated Easter you all.

Next time you are At Rural King buy their spices. The Grilling Burger spice blend is our go to now. I think it’s $3.99 it is really good on Steaks & burgers & baked potatoes too . I buy my cinnamon minced garlic & minced onions they’re much cheaper than other stores & larger size.

You can get an electric one but the tines MUST be behind the wheels! If you ever get a gas or electric roto tiller you MUST get rear tines! Front tines will wear you out from dragging you all over creation! Rear tine tillers are a dream to run! FROM EXPERIENCE!!!
