A detail in the Blood of the Dead escort step you didn’t mention is how while you’re doing it, the ghosts of Alcatraz are seen in the surrounding cells cheering you on. It hammers home that the ghosts are on your side and that the Warden is the only truly bad one, which is a nice bit of story.
@@skylerwarren7300 When you're at the very end of the Easter egg, the ghosts that knock down the giant Brutis are Al, Sal, Fin, and Billy from MOTD. Richtofen says their names right before the boss fight starts.
@@JadonKaiser ye I knew but what I ment was that the prisoners were also bad people as the main comment said something about the ghost being good while the warden is bad, I forgore
@@skylerwarren7300 The ghosts are tortured souls in an endless purgatory loop similar to the MOTD characters. They aren't necessarily good, but they want somebody to break the cycle and beat the warden.
One of mine has to be the final stand in Tag Der Toten, not the whole escort but the final part in the lab, the insane guitar solo mixed with frantically trying to stay alive in a closing environment gives me adrenaline like almost nothing else in zombies
Just wanna say, you do such good work! Your videos are so good and I always look forward to watching whenever you upload. I’m so surprised that you only have 18.2k subs. You deserve to have so much more! Keep up the good bro, I look forward to seeing your channel grow.
In spite of the darkest shores annoying boss zombie, I still like all the sacrifice steps, ant-air step, and battleship step, and I like how the rip-saw upgrade step is done. It’s just the fog + unstunable spider mech = Annoyed. Also the statue step in shadowed throne, and the melee weapon upgrade steps in the frozen dawn (which is most of the Easter egg)
That last step is one of my favorite steps You didn't even mention the prisoners all rioting or cheering or whatever yelling they're doing and that there's a bunch of ghosts in the cells and stuff Its just so cinematic and cool The last step on tag der toten is pretty amazing too with everything being lava when it was ice and the music that plays makes it so intense then the finishing part where it starts to fade out then the ringing starts then you're on the map without any zombies as you finish the last task
In no particular order… • Bomb Step (Gorod Krovi) • 9 Margwa Kills in Apothican (Revelations) • UFO Simon Says (Spaceland) • Disco Ball Kills (Shaolin Shuffle) • Planet Puzzle (Frozen Dawn) • Ra Step (IX) • Atlas Puzzle (Dead of the Night) • Knight Crystals Escort (Dead of the Night) • Sundial (Ancient Evil) • Hit Your Marks (Ancient Evil) • Mannequin Lockdowns (Alpha Omega) • Trial of Mindfulness (The Archon)
@@chantjelly6773 it’s a puzzle, with actual logic behind solving it. I know there’s a way to input the same dials and get it done every time, but if u don’t look up what that is and do it from scratch, it’s a fun puzzle
@@chantjelly6773yes you turn dials, but its a classic puzzle in which some specific items need to be aligned at the same time in order to solve it. Its tedious, sure. But hella satisfying if you got it.
I don't know if you purposefully avoided non-Treyarch games, but I loved the two steps in Descent from AW that just gave you infinite explosive ammo for the entire round. It's just really fun to be that overpowered.
I really love the planet step on Voyage for some reason. I don't even really know why but it's just satisfying to shoot the planets and then defend against Zombies on the location the Orb will spawn. If we were to also count bossfights my list would be a lot longer. DE, GK, I also liked Rev, IX and Dotn also really delivered but my favs are definitely AE and Voyage. Voyage for its difficulty and AE for its amazing scenery and super unique fight.
Hot Take: Unironically, my favorite step to do is actually the chemistry step from attack. Yes I know, it’s annoying and it sucks and takes way too much time. However, I just can’t help but enjoy the step. Having to figure out what compound you’re making and while yes you do have to look up a separate guide, finding the ingredients and doing the math doesn’t bother me that much.
Facts. Hey if you want to, check out my guide. I did try to make that step easy to understand (although I think it took me 8 minutes to explain it low key)
Joltz idk what it is, but after doing blood solo and co-op, i just cant bring myself to like the map. I even watched your guide for it, but i still just despise the map. Im thinking about trying it again just to give it another try. Is there any tips you could give me to make this more enjoyable?
No particular order here (side note im a fan of semi-difficult steps, ill get some hate for these) 1) Bomb step in GK 2) Beast from Beyond Switch puzzle 3) Rave in the Redwoods leg step (hot take) 4) Chemical step on Attack (hot take) 5) Atlas Globe step on DOTN 6) Disco ball step on Shaolin Shuffle (even though its annoying at times) 7) Planet Step on Voyage (hot take)
@@chantjelly6773 same. Have you tried it with the 8-ball charm? Thats the reason I love it, it is so much fun sliding into zombies to kill them, having that ability to achieve a step brings another level of satisfaction
@JadonKaiser You could say the same about every zombies boss though. If you know how it works, they're not that hard. It's just the fear of something going wrong that causes you to make mistakes on certain bosses like Legion or Mephistopholes
@@goldengoose6950 I think the Spaceland boss fight is cursed for me. I've done the practice boss fight 100+ times and it feels impossible. I'll down the alien once or maybe even twice if I'm lucky, but something always goes wrong... any advice? RIP my chances of ever unlocking Directors Cut.
@JadonKaiser That's one's hard, but there's methods for sure. I recommend running one of the Ray Guns for the Alien(take your pick) and the upgraded Kendells for clearing out zombies easy. As soon as the Alien pops out, immediately pop the explosive touch card(assuming you have one) and focus on nothing but shooting the alien with your ray gun. The card lasts for a long time and you can take off both fuses before it runs out. When it does, use the medusa device trap(3 red coins) and it'll set off a nuke to clear the zombies, giving you just enough time to kill the alien. The infinite ammo card is also really good as it lets you shoot the ray guns incredibly fast, or the tornado card for keeping you safe. Hope that helps
On the topic of Easter eggs I’m going to give a hot take: at least for treyarch there has never been truly great rewards. Like, on Black ops three you get a Pacholik for each map minus rev. But, there’s nothing that you get permanently I think that if you complete an Easter egg on a map there should be some sort of feature on that map that is there every single time you play it. For example, if you have done the Zet Easter Easter egg I think that the elevator should be permanently unlocked. it’s just an idea, but think that would give players a reason to complete the Easter egg
1. Hit your marks (Ancient Evil) 2. DE Boss fight 3. GK Bomb Step 4. Legion Boss fight 5. Origins Crazy place step 6. Mob final step 7. Mauer train step 8. Voyage Planet Step 9. Alpha Omega Mannequin lockdown step 10. Rave in the redwoods boss fight
Personally I dislike the Zeus step, honestly it’s probably because I went down multiple games because my specialist just straight up stopped working and cost me my perfect on the map, I have done every other map with 0 downs all on my first completion but that map. If it wasn’t for that step then I would’ve had a perfect run on all first completions. That is why I will forever dislike that step. Have to say though, a lot of blood’s steps were just mind numbingly boring or hard that and sucking souls got so old so fast. Still like the map now though
