At first, being an audio guy, I was like “why is there no room mic/ambience in this” it’s just super direct mics in this big room… BUT THEN I was like “wait… all that I’m hearing is THE BAND… in their raw and purest form… no polish - and they’re KILLING IT!!” I freaking love this!!!❤❤❤ 🤘🏻🤓👍🏻
They are very good live. My wife and I have seen them twice, and that was in 2018 and 2019, so I'm sure they are only improving more and more since we saw them.

Sure. But the sound is weirdly dry when filtering out background sounds - it gets an artificial ambience and sometimes it sounds slightly flat, which I wouldn't have noticed with natural live noise. I would actually have preferred added fake live noise compared to this sound. I really like this song, so I would have loved a live version that also sounded live

Canada has way of hiding bands from the rest of the world. So glad they are getting bigger now. First time I saw them was in Dec. 2019 opening for Taking Back Sunday and I had no idea who they were, but they opened the show with “Back of my Heart” and I was like “uhmm okay, they’re gonna steal this whole show aren’t they?” At first I thought Kylie was my favorite because of her stage presence and back up vocals, then I thought Jordan was my favorite because holy shit what a voice, then I thought Leandra was my favorite because she’s playing guitar/keys/cowbell/backing vocals and doing high kicks, then I thought Eliza was my favorite because she’s such a solid, Ringo Starr-esque drummer. And I met Le and Jordan after the show and they were so nice. It’s really been amazing to watch them build up so much momentum & attention over the last couple of years.
My biggest crush of 2023. Great piece of rock, great performance, awesome lead guitar line, bass line and melody. I don't blame Brett at all, because without the inspiration of his stupidity this gem might not have seen the light of day :)
