In a week I fast and pray 3 days, on Monday sometime I repent and confess my son, Wendy's is day of Thanksgiving for what God has done for me and my family, Saturday I fast and pray for other people, sick, jobless, other people who need the grace of GOD
I was just asking myself this same question, "Am I praying right? What should I say during my prayers? I was awaken about half past 4am (not sure why), and couldn't go back to sleep. I wanted to pray but my mind went blank so I pulled out the Bible (KJV) and read 3 chapters of Genesis, then I started feeling calm and able to lay back down. I then prayed and just said, "Thank you Jesus......Amen", then I fell right to sleep 🙌💙
yess same agreed when i learnt these through the word of God and His ministers it was absolutely Life-changing. it took my prayer life to a greater level beyond anything i could ever imagine

Don’t know what to say? The Holy Spirit will always help you :) Speaking in tongues when you don’t know what/how to pray is like having access to the best cheat in a game level that is too hard, or like driving directions on the map app in a place you don’t know :)
Tongues is a language you don’t know, spoken by you in prayer. Holy Spirit is your helper. He will help you. Ask Him to come, ask Him to receive the tongues. It is a wonderful help especially when you don’t know how to or what to pray. There is no trick, no special way to pray to receive it. Just ask. It used to be common for people to receive tongues when getting baptised. But if you didn’t, don’t let that stop you from asking Him for it. Above all, everything the Holy Spirit gives, whatever it is, is something that happens when you are with God, praying and praising Him, whether in words, in song, in action or in thought. Seek and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened.
I was in intensive prayer for 4 days as well as fasting, and in that time on one of the mornings a super deep masculine voice woke me up (i live alone) and i woke up slightly then started to close my eyes again and i heard a "no no up" in that same voice 😊 i felt so incredibly blessed i was in awe. I love to pray in the Spirit; it can be very emotional n you realize that God Himself is allowing us to pray this way so we can express our deepest needs for someone n verbally we can't utter those words correctly but speaking them. My struggle is that my prayer life is very personal and meditative in nature. I don’t construct sentences when I’m speaking to God. I meditate on his glory and admire him which he can see through my heart. Unless I’m asking for his provision for a certain issue, the longest sentences I say to God consist of very few words. Things like, “I love you”, “Thank you”, “You are too good to me”, things like this. I don’t talk to God in sentences like I would to another mortal human. What I don’t understand is how to pray out loud in a group. I feel as though I’m just scrambling to find something to say so that my prayer is acceptable to the people around me. If there’s no pressing, obvious need in my life or the lives of the people around me, that I’m aware of, if I just say’ “We love you Lord, amen”, people will be left scratching their heads. It makes me wonder if public praying out loud, such as blessing a meal, is even productive or necessary. It never feels like I’m speaking from my heart because I’m scrambling to construct a coherent sentence that sounds like a prayer a pastor would say or something. Maybe I’m overthinking it and just need to keep my public prayer short, if there are no pressing issues that I need to ask His provision for. I love speaking to God and admiring Him, but the way I do it in the confines of my own heart and mind, is very different from the way you hear well spoken people pray.
