"Addio", the Italian word for "goodbye", subtitles Richard Danielpour's 6th String Quartet, written in Italy in 2009-a place near and dear to the composer's heart, and source of great inspiration.
From his enchanting first visit in 1982, to becoming a destination where he spends each summer, Richard now considers himself when he's there, "an honorary Italian".
