i agreee with you, some people tend to downplay Kenpachi's fighting IQ because he seems to prefer all out brawl as it's more fun to him but he's actually genius. He just thinks on his feet about the best way to make the fight fun. And its not like he's consciously thinking hard like plotting about it. He's just naturally smart when it comes to fighting. Kind of like Luffy always boils down the complex problems to the common denominator to beat down when everyone else thinking too hard. He's naturally outsmarting them because he thinks straight to what really matters (to him) and more often than not that's also what really matters about the situation at hand

The same thought occured to me. My hypothesis is this: A battle between powers is always a battle between Reiatsu. Aizen negated Suzumebachi with his reiatsu. And as we have seen in a book, someone with less power than Yamamoto using Ryujin Yaka, it had less power and abilities when used. We did see this as well with the elite quincies, how an increase in power made their abilities also a lot stronger.
Kempachi showed fear during Unohanas fight when she said “but that’s just the extend of your power” . Remember the gasp? I think his fear is having a cap to his power . He doesn’t like the idea that he was reached the extent of his power. Also yachiru was something he was deeply concerned about . So get those two fears together maybe you can kill him. I feel like as nodt would be able to stab him but he better get kempachi in one shot because kempachi would just grab his arm or sword like during his fight with tosen or when Yamamoto grabbed Aizens arm. As nodt has a one shot chance and if he misses kempachi wins

It is one of the few things that are illogical in Bleach universe. If you are perfectly focus your sword and power, even if it is weaker than an other entity will still hurt it, like Ichigo against Kenpachi first round, or Hisagi who killed Tosen despite being way weaker. But Soi Fon is one the weakest, most arrogant, childish captain, maybe she doesn't concentrate enough her reichi to actually hurt Aizen for the sole reason she thought she was in the same room of power but Aizen is far greater and without this concentration her attacks are void and purely cancelled.
ichigo already had captain level reaitsu but his reiatsu was more like tsunami, he wasnt controling it at all... when zaraki told him to focus then he could cut him because zaraki was supressing his own reiatsu so he can match ichigo and fight longer that why ichigo barely won because if zaraki was fighting for real then it would be like bankai ichigo after fighting byakuya vs aizen's finger.. he fought he cut ichigo in half with that because thats how big was gap between them and thats how sharp was aizen's reaitsu compared to ichigo@@Fradth

All oxygen instantly quit your lungs, you rectum can't contain your feces, but that's all, you can survive 30s in the void, so a shinigami captain normally it is no problem at all, and he can't get a cancer from the radiations because he is not a physical being.
While you technically correct, you should also consider that this all is happening in fighting scenario vs shinigami who, as you mention, can go in with unfathomably ridiculous speed. And i doubt the imagination ability would work as "i imagine myself to have infinite time to think, ergo infinite prep time" - considering he had to "duplicate" himself to increase his own power in similar way. On the topic of void and physical bodies, any attack/incident in-universe vs spiritual being isn't exactly... the 1:1 physical event from material world, so it probably should be read as something like "void that has the same effect on any spiritual being as space to human body". And the idea of the attack certainly wasn't to insta-gib Kenpachi - Gremmy just couldn't imagine that correctly - more so to trap him and wait for him to cook, which is the same tactic Gremmy tried SEVERAL times during this fight (water bubble, ground prison, sword entrapment), which clearly shows that he's using the same ideas he used before, that is very complacent with the lengths of his power until Zaraki really got him going. Also, his power is "almost" limitless, but as the ending of this fight shows, that power is limited by his own understanding of things.
By the way he's not dumb. That's what happens when you're locked away and only your brain remains. Hell, I remember some of them he's better off locked because of how strong he is... Which sort of implies he's not allowed to roam free in most circumstances

Trying to imagine being stronger than kenpachi's true power and it kills you.
Kenpachi didnt walk away from him and actually listened to his speech.
Gremmy did gave him a great fight which left him severely wounded to the point he couldn't able to fight back the other Sternritters.

On the topic of void and physical bodies, any attack/incident in-universe vs spiritual being isn't exactly... the 1:1 physical event from material world, so it probably should be read as something like "void that has the same effect on any spiritual being as space to human body". And the idea of the attack certainly wasn't to insta-gib Kenpachi - Gremmy just couldn't imagine that correctly - more so to trap him and wait for him to cook, which is the same tactic Gremmy tried SEVERAL times during this fight (water bubble, ground prison, sword entrapment), which clearly shows that he's using the same ideas he used before, that is very complacent with the lengths of his power until Zaraki really got him going.
Also, his power is "almost" limitless, but as the ending of this fight shows, that power is limited by his own understanding of things.
By the way he's not dumb. That's what happens when you're locked away and only your brain remains.
Hell, I remember some of them he's better off locked because of how strong he is... Which sort of implies he's not allowed to roam free in most circumstances
