  • Authorities are hailing a 22-year-old civilian as a hero after he killed a gunman. The good Samaritan, identified as Elisjsha Dicken, was legally carrying a handgun at an Indiana mall when a 20-year-old gunman entered the food court. Investigators say the gunman went to the restroom, stayed for an hour where he stashed his phone in the toilet, and then emerged with two semi-automatic rifles and a handgun. He started shooting, killing three people and injuring a 12-year-old girl, before he was killed.

As an independent and a gun owner w a CC, I simply want people with a history of violence including but not limited to domestic, someone whom makes threats or is a threat, has a mental illness, schizophrenia and any person who is an IRRESPONSIBLE GUN OWNER to not have a means to shot up a school, a mall, a concert etc. And I’m sorry but an 18 yr old has no place owning a semi-automatic, times have changed an 18YR old decades ago is NOT the 18YR old today and there should be an age restriction on Semi’s…for god sakes they can’t even by a pack of smokes or a beer so they certainly shouldn’t have an AR-15… I truly wish people would STOP using the same lie they’ve perpetuated for decades about how “ThEy’Re gOnNa TaKe OuR GuN’s AwAy!” Nope, NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE AN AMERICAN’S RIGHT TO PROTECT THEMSELVES (well maybe the Supreme Court) THEY SIMPLY WANT RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNERSHIP. It’s not the radicalism or “WoKe-iSm” GARBAGE THAT’S SPEWED ON “MEDIA OUTLETS” it’s just RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNERSHIP… but that doesn’t enrage people, create “culture wars” and it most certainly doesn’t sell headlines so… 🙄

Denmark had a mass shooting not too long ago and guns are almost impossible to get there. In Germany someone committed a mass shooting using a homemade shotgun and machine gun. The previous Japanese prime Minister was assassinated using a homemade shotgun, and the shooter had made remote control shotguns out of rc cars, metal pipes, gunpowder from fireworks and metal balls. Some of the most crime ridden places in our country are also the ones with mass shootings. Those same places have basically outlawed guns or made them so hard to get almost no bystander would have one to stop mass shootings. And turns out Most mass shootings happen during democratic presidents terms, especially right before they decide to start trying to ban them, with most of them carrying weapons way past what even a normal American can afford (the buffalo NY shooter had a $500 plate carrier, $500 amor plates, a Daniel defense ar 15 which retails for $1500, several hundred rounds of ammo retailing at $700, a bolt action rifle with a scope worth another $1500, and he was a college student to top it off. How did he get the money? Or the guns when in NY you have to have been the victim of a violent crime and show proof of an extraordinary need for a firearm for defense to even be able to get a license to carry?) Most mass shootings are done with pistols. Most mass shooting are by people who stole guns from their families. Most gun deaths in this country are by suicide and gang violence with only 0.3% being "mass shootings" by the FBIs standards. You clearly have no idea wtf you are talking about.
