I really can't understand why the people are hating on this talented actor when he gets a bit of extra publicity. They should understand that sometimes mistakes happen but seeing that above his talent is disturbing. Give him some space people. Hope Can's problems are solved soon. Good luck to him.

Of course he is right about high libido of the leading pair that's why the show it became the most great show, second he answered to a stupid question of journalist very well i don't understand where is serious problems that they cancel the his new project! After all i think that he has a very bad manager that from the beginning he doesn't protect him,at least tell him to not comment every thing and faraway from Lucca every night!God bless him we love you forever and ever 💋💗🇬🇷

Totally,isn’t that what all of them try to show in a romantic scene,isn’t that what distinguishes an on screen couple in a movie/series from other ones who show no sexual drive in their performance,all there is to it,is that Can said things the way they are..this is not something new,can never fit the mold,he gained international fame like no other Turkish star and that bothered them..the campaign against him in Turkey is just shameful

This is absolutely ridiculous. Can Yaman is an amazing actor and the first actor I have really believed in his acting. I have watched a few Turkey shows when I started watching Erkenci Kus and not one of them captured my attention as what Can Yaman was able to do. People need to get their heads on straight. Can Yaman has millions of fans that support him and has brought a lot of fans to Turkey. I am a USA fan and will stand beside him and support all his adventures 👍🏻👍🏻💕👏🏻👍🏻❤️

@@AnaCarla-bp4rd, Hollywood is hard to crack. It's not as easy as you think. Many British celebrities, actors, singers have tried and failed. Why even the pop queen Kylie Minogue found it hard to achieve fame in Hollywood, she did though in the end, but it took lots of hard work & determination. Not everyone knows him in Hollywood just like not everyone know about him in UK. Non of my friends know Can or Demot. I'm not saying it's impossible, it can be done but not that easily. He should get a good PR team and a good manager, that will help him.

He definitely exudes a passion in his roles and I know that is one thing I look for in my shows... so I plan to continue watching him in the future.
I don’t know if he needs more coaching for his public speaking or if he just really doesn’t care... but I think all he has to do is limit his interviews and people will forget.
I know I’m watching these fictional (and fantastic!) shows to fulfill my romance addiction... and not because of anything he says or does in his personal life. As long as he keeps bringing me sexy, dreamy heroes... then I’ll be watching.

Los que sepan de Internet y saben bien el Turco /español que publiquen esa entrevista para demostrar a la gente en Turquía que le hicieron una trampa. Yo no sabría decir si dijo lo del camerino porque no se Turco, pero de todas formas no es tan grave como para destruir su carrera.
Los turcos no saben valorar sus talentos. Hace rato que estaban por joder ése muchacho. Que salga de ahí; que él sabe mas idiomas y con su carisma y talento puede triunfar en otros sitios. Poor Can .It sounds like he is getting “set up” in a lot of his interviews. He gets asked leading questions and then when he answers in a down to earth manner he is taken out of context and misquoted or mistranslated, like the libido comment, when he clearly meant chemistry. While it all adds to his charm to be honest and open, I think in order to protect himself he needs to learn to develop a filter and to set some boundaries that are not to be crossed when he is being interviewed.

If he did make that comment then he was WRONG to do that, that's my opinion. However, I don't think he deserves to get his show cancelled or this amount of criticism. En una de las entrevistas de las varias que tuvo en Madrid Can dijo que las mujeres españolas eran muy emocionales y calientes. El traductor no era bueno y no supo traducir bien tenia que haber dicho "las mujeres espanolas son muy emocionales y cariñosas" eso suena mucho mejor que calientes. Luego el traductor trato de corregir ese error con la palabra "calida", pero ya era demasiado tarde. Y me imagino que ese no fue el unico error que el traductor cometio y todo el mundo a puesto el grito al cielo. Es un hombre igual que otro cualquiera con sus deseos y debilidades y no entiendo porque quieren hacer de el un monje.
De esto aprende mi niño grande. Abre buenos ojos. Y mira quien de verdad es tu amigo, en las buenas y malas. Aveces confundimos todo los amigos que nos rodean.y resulta que esos no son los que te quieren bien. Franca Marrella you can't blame Turkey, I'm sorry but Can should never give interviews when drinking. He needed to spend less time in the bars and more time just chilling and humbly getting ready for his next project after the military. It's like he's been in a frenzy surrounding himself with woman pawing all over him. He can't stand still, has lost a lot of weight and when being interviewed he talks wayyy too much. He tends to brag a bit. Dear Can needs to take on some of the humility of Can Divit. He should never have dissed that other popular Turkish actor Kivanc Or said that Demet spends her time taking selfies while he works . Can has to learn sometimes more is less and just stay quiet.
@Sue Bissonnette I agree with you about Can- sometimes acting without thinking, and i think he definitely needs guidance from people who are well experienced in this industry. He clearly loves his fans and loves to hang out with them ,but he has to have boundaries in order to succeed. However,i also think his country is giving him a hard time,they never had a Turkish star in a level like Can who is making his way out of the country and building himself worldwide, and i certainly see some envy there towards him. Some Turkish actors are well known in the industry and yet manage to achieve what he has achieved in a short period of time,that definitely puts him in a jealous spot. I haven't heard even one good word about him from the Turkish press,NON. In Greece,Spain, Italy, France etc he was welcomed with warm hands wide open, while in his country they continuesly write negative stories about him.
Turkey kinda reminds me of Sanem's neighborhood, where everyone has to know everything and tell you what to do and how to live. And when someone is trying his luck out of the hood,and trying something different- he is being gossiped and criticized immediately.You can't really have plans or dreams outside of your block,your small territory,Because you are not allowed to dream so far and think out of the box and simply make a move that no one else has tried before.no big dreams are being talked about, because it's crazy to dream that far... that's why Sanem only shares her heart wish with her diary and not with people.... because she knows no one will understand her.....
Therefore no matter what he does he is being criticized left and right.yes he is not perfect,and needs help in his self management,but they are definitely picking on him. Demet for example, is a PRO when it comes to handling the media, she's been doing it several years before him and her career was built more slowly than Can's. She is always politically correct,never say yes,never say no when being asked personal questions,or even just Q that she knows the answers might be tricky. she doesn't want to make any statements that later might be used against her .so she uses her big smile to get out of the conversation..

He was somewhat exiled and instructed to stay away from the press, his series postponed,his reputation tarnished, etc. Exactly what "his other set of fans" fear to happen. I say other set of fans, me included, because all his other fans would take this all as a product of jealousy because of his good looks and education, etc. Could be, but we should not forget that before these trips and street interviews, he was thought to be a god, a perfect human being, the most ideal man. Everything is in the opposite now. I, as a fan, see this as a product of Can's actions. He was too much out there, incriminating himself, namedropping, and so on. I can only wish for him to settle down, hoping that he can get back up. I say take a step back and remember who he was before all these screaming women entered the picture, and before his other set of fans put him in the wrong pedestal.
As I say being a Celebrity is very difficult. Use your words properly or if you don't know ignore it and don't talk about it. Have respect for women. Though I like Can Yaman but it do hurt when our heroes sometimes speak nonsense.. Now he will have to face the consequence. But it's too harsh to cancel the series. Let it be small lesson to learn from mistakes.
It's not him, it's the media that is unnecessarily twisting his words and showing him in a bad light.
Though I do feel he shouldn't have mentioned anything about the co-star he had a rift with. That was plain unprofessional. And I don't think he is too naive to not know that that type of comment could land him in trouble, especially when it's about a woman.
Everything else he said has been distorted by the media and I don't understand why. They should be proud of him for exposing the Turkish culture to the world. I didn't know a thing about Turkey but after watching EK I was intrigued to look up Turkey on the internet - their language, cuisine, arts and crafts, beautiful places to visit, etc. How many Turkish actors have managed to bring about that kind of influence?
Tamasa Patra, very true. I think some of the things he said might've been taken out of context. I too agree he shouldn't have mentioned about the other actresses especially her name. That's signaling her out, he could've worded it better. It's good he's taking a break, he deserve it. Some rest and staying away from the press would do him good and hopefully come back next year fighting back stronger. I don't think Farouq, producer cancelled the show with Can, maybe postponed it for the time being. Until the dust clears. You watch, once Can is out of the limelight they'll be moving onto someone else, printing rubbish about some other celebrities. Hopefully it won't be Demot, hope they leave her alone to get on with her series.

Can is experiencing unfathomed international fame and he's clearly not fully prepared for it. He needs to be more diplomatic in his interviews instead of always speaking his mind because his honesty is only backfiring at him.
I guess the Turkish media will not be successful in tarnishing Demet's image because she is mature and reserved, deftly avoiding answering questions about Can or other co-actors. With all this drama going on, her silence has been steadfast. I respect her for it, she's clearly out of the EK fame hangover and moved on to the next project which people have already started talking about. She's a good example of how a celebrity needs to deal with gossip hungry media.

I am badly surprised and i left a few days to pass.. What an angelic World is this!!!! How many innocent and ethic persons are there around Can Yaman!!!! I wonder if one day this boy awake up and decide (before he go to the army) to travel alover the world and forward old & new series of the productive company !!( Its sure he doesn't need it for personal reasons as the millions of followers are enough !!). And realy does anybody believes that he had the possibility to prepare alone (!!??) all invitations in deferent countries in so many TV programmes and especially that luxury presentation in Cannes ??Just alone did that ?? Then Bravissimo ! In countries he spoke directly (English or Italians) no misunderstanding happened and in Spain suddenly the good chemistry between partners translated as "libido" .And when accepted (among hundred others the same day) an ridiculous question ,with obvious sexting imply , he gave an unlucky answer ... Alguien dice por ahí abajo que Fatmagul es una serie aburrida y llena de drama y violencia. No estoy de acuerdo, denuncia un hecho real que ocurrió en Turquía por los años 70. La violación múltiple a una mujer. Esta serie es digna de respeto, no sólo por su contenido social, también por la magnífica interpretación de todo su elenco actoral. Sirvió para que muchas turcas denunciaran éste tipo de hechos denigrante para cualquier mujer. Además, está traducida en varios idiomas, castellano, portugués, francés, inglés, italiano, sin contar que antes de comprarlo España, ya se había traducido al español latino y visto con muchísimo éxito en toda Latinoamérica. Mejor informarse bien antes de hablar. Esto va también por el señor Can Yaman, al cual se le está subiendo la fama a la cabeza. No debería olvidarse de qué según el dicho. (Todos los ídolos tienen los pies de barro)
