As a SA Spurs fan it put a smile on my face to hear Pep shout em out. That was the most beautiful basketball I’ve ever seen. So many comparisons to free flowing orchestral football
So much so that he's single handedly changed the way football is played all over Europe..... it's almost like he's created a new game of his own that he allows other teams to participate in 😂

Guardiola poisons football. Everyone copies his 'possession at all costs' strategy. That and playing out from the goalkeeper, which has been a disastrous tactic time and again for many teams. He has hampered Grealish's career by sticking him out as a strict left winger, after he came from a free-roaming role at Villa, and was the most fouled player in Europe because he was so difficult to tackle. He scored and created far more goals that way. Similarly, Haaland should be scoring far more goals, but in Guardiola's system City never pass him the ball, because Pep doesn't believe in center forwards. Guardiola has had a charmed career, not because he's a genius. He isn't. He inherited the team Rykyard built, and La Massia helped fill with the best midfield that ever player the game: Xavi, Iniesta, and Busquets. Plus possibly the best ever Spanish defender in Puyol. Not to mention, of course, Messi, Ronaldinho, and Et'o. My grandmother could have won trophies managing that team. And how precisely would you 'manage' Messi, and the best ever midfield, plus a series of the best goalscorers of the time? "Keep passing the ball to each other in midfield. Then Messi, you run into space and score, or pass to Ronaldinho, or Zlatan, or Villa, or Henri, or Et'o for them to score." Then he made the of, so brave move to Bayern, who had won, what, the previous fifty Bundesligas. And then on to Man City, with a bottomless pit of arab oil money. Genius, no.
Grealish won absolutely nothing before Guardiola, now he is a 3 times PL winner, CL winner and treble winner, and had his wages trebled as well. By any possible metric Grealish's career skyrocketed after he became Guardiola's player, and he had no career to speak of beforehand.
@@TP-pq9xx "any possible metric?" How about goals and assists? Even touches of the ball. Sure he's richer, and has those titles, courtesy of arab billions, but he was left out of the Euro 2024 England Squad, and will never win EPL player of the season staying at city
