I find this hard to believe. Alll my non-Nigerian friends in the UK asked me for different Nigerian dishes. I'm struggling to believe that Nigeria dishes are not in the top 5 in Africa. I'm not good at exploring when it comes to food though, but massive love to my Nigeria dishes ❤.
Sorry but Ope was wrong with his sentiments. I don't care if you have friends with restaurant owners. As long as one is spending money on a toothpick in your restaurant, why can't i stay? I don't need to spend a million dollars before i'm let in your restaurant. If that's the case, them make a time limit rule for all customers.
First of all, pretty sure this guy deals with imposter syndrome, it’s sooo glaring. Side note: saying you’re the biggest food critic in all your videos is cheesy dawg if no one else would say it. No, you don’t have to go to culinary school or some shit to be a food critic but you do have to invest in the academic expertise of it & score some credit, other than that, it’s ‘your opinion’. What he said about women in restaurants is so stereotypical and borderline misogynistic, why not educate and advocate for these women and help restro owners with safe guards to balance both concerns. Shit sometimes I just really wanna get a Chapman/Cocktail while working on my laptop.. why can’t t it be that? This sounds like a battle & brags of ‘Who sabi bougie pass’.. it’s a class trap most people don’t know they fall into, you travel, get an acquired taste & come back to Nigeria and shit on our indigenous ways.. been to 16 countries & counting, been there done that & it doesn’t matter what class of restaurant it is in Nigeria I can’t wait to get my hands on a good Native soup when I return. I agree with the Lebanese bit 100% though and their work ethic and Stephanie is right, they are high key discriminatory!!!!! They my people but I always call them out on it especially in Kano. Lastly, food has history guys, I wish Ope’s content also has those intellectual bits , but basically, we don’t own half the meals we consume in Nigeria historically.
It's true. Puff puff is not just ours. There's fried dough in the US. Beignets and doughnuts are similar to puff

Never heard that South Africa is known for food. I highly doubt that. You need to try Cameroon cuisine though.
