Wasn't in this storm thankfully but was in Michael a few years ago. After fumbling for a flashlight a few times I put a small flashlight on a lanyard. I know it's a small thing but that saved me so much time not having to feel around or hunt it was right there. Just a small light nothing overly bright or heavy but enough to find the bigger light if needed and get around in the house.
Appreciate it. I think preparing has got a bad rep over the year for a number of reasons. A lot of it is "big media" painting a negative picture. General preparedness is really just common since, but sadly that's in short supply nowadays.
Man you are on point. This is amazing video man. I’m from south Louisiana and I camp as well so I have most of what you went over. Thanks for do this. Now people will see they need to be prepared
How true is all the shit people are saying? I’ve been hearing all sorts of insane stuff about how the death toll is much worse than people say, FEMA not letting anyone in. What’s it genuinely like in your area bro? And of course bless you.
Well im just getting back on the grid here. I know the parkway is officially closed because I live right off the Blueridge parkway. Here in my part its just damage from fallen trees but the areas near rivers and body's off water have been hit hard. I don't personally know anyone whos died but I do know people who have had to have stuff delivered by helicopter.

Yeah, when the fridge or freezer loses power that can be a lot of waste, happened to us just after Christmas as the fridge went.
