MISS at 7:00 we also need to put the value of speed of light as the the formulae is e=mcsquare
DUDE, I have been OBSESSING over this for the past 20 mins. I thought I made a mistake in understanding the equation lol.
thank you, miss !
at 7:00 shouldn't we multiply the expression by c^2 as well?
4:54
7:00 ma'am while plugging in the values of mass and speed of light you have used 930 MeV instead of 3*10^8.
Can you please explain it to me.
she forgot to add it
@@vidunweerasinghe9187 not really it's because the question wanted us to convert mass into energy (MeV) because she has already converted the 1u into MeV there was no need to use the formula, instead she just had to multiply the 9.11 x 10power-3 u with 930 MeV to find the answer inform of energy.
hope it makes sense :)
Do we need to memorize how to draw the binding energy graph??
What would be two assumptions made on the structure of the nucleus

Hey did you cover all A2 nuclear physics
Yepp, check out the playlist!
Hi! for AS level, can explain why alpha particle has a constant energy while beta particle has a range of energies?
During nuclear decay, right? That's cuz alpha decay I'd the only product. But beta decay always comes together with a (massless) neutrino that can share any amount of the beta's energy!
Alright thank you so much!
