When people say “Blizzard doesn’t care about Wild”, they have to realize that balancing a mode in which every card can be played is almost impossible. Most of the time the benefit doesn’t outweigh the resources it would take to balance every majorly powerful Wild deck in a way that doesn’t also kill them
I would say yes, and honestly, if just nerf cards when they become too problematic, it would be fine, problem is, they don't. It took them 2 years to nerf Barnes, all in while Big Priest was top Meta, They only nerf quickly Wild cards when facing a absurdly OP deck, like naga or darkest hour warlocks, which demolished everything on the ladder for several weeks, before getting patched.
For the most part you are right, but the real problem in wild is secret mage and big priest, because they are too strong for the amout of skill they require, so they represent a substantial part of the ladder, and it doesn't take a lot a ressource to figure out that these two decks need to be broken in half once for all. I know that darkglare and highlander priest are the real dominant decks in the format (or at least they was until the barrens) but secret mage and big prest are the real problem imo because they are too many of them, since a long time, and this makes runing meme decks and fun decks a real pain, and this shouldnt be the case.
@@EduardoDalmas It was not good but a deck doesnt have to be a legit top tier to be a problem. The old school unstable barnes big priest was not very good indeed, but it had a good enough comination of simplicity and strength to be overplayed on the ladder, especially in low ranks, resulting in an averwhelming army of big priests, killing everyone's fun, and forcing everyone to play a deck able to counter the big priest. While big priest not being a really good deck, it was awful playing a meme deck or even just a suboptimal deck on low ranks of wild ladder, keeping a lot of people away from the format, and making a lot of players thinking that wild is just a stupid format, unfun and not worth playing.
Used to be a 3 mana 3/4 _"whenever your hero takes damage on your turn, refresh 2 mana crystals"_ Now it's a 2 mana 2/3 that refreshes only 1 mana crystal instead
I know that you don't like deck suggestions, but did you consider psychmelon in building this deck? It draws all your important cards, and thins your deck of expensive cards early on.
If you're looking to consistently draw Hadro, Psychmelon is IMO a much more attractive option, since it also draws you into those beefy taunts you want resurrected, N'Zoth to resurrect them with, and isn't a dead card when you already have Hadronox in hand.
Pretty sure the deck already has alot of draw, he would be floating resources with that much draw on a high cost deck, and wouldn't be able to go till fatigue against priest.
@@Roffle Thanks for the advice, definitely will give this deck a try. Wow, i didnt expect to get a reply so soon, as a wild player your decks and tips helped me so much to improve, thanks once again :)
Hey Roffle, I’m mulling over a new OTK with Shaman: 1) Inara Stormcrash (5/10 mana) 2) Lightnung Bloom + Lightning Bloom (9/10 mana) 3) Zentimo (6/10 mana) 4) Electra Storm Surge (3/10 mana) 5) Stormstrike on opponent’s middle minion (0/10 mana) I’m hoping with Zentimo, the Stormstrike should land on the adjacent minions for +9 attack, doubled with electra, for a total of 18 + 2 with Inara (with windfury for a total of 40). Think it’s worth testing?
Isnt plaguemaw theoretically infinite value with a single khartut? A fresh one turns into a fresh one without taunt, which you can trade to get a damaged one with taunt, which turns into a fresh one without taunt, etc. Seems pretty good to me
The fact that they lose taunt makes it sort of a deal breaker. You can't protect the Plaguemaw with them anymore which makes the interactions pretty weird. I think you need taunts with second effects to make full use of it.
@@dan200smx7 Umbra makes Incredible combo with greybough. If the rattle lands on greybough herself, it's GG for the opponent without polymorph/hex/scream... :)
@@stefannawara oh you're running greybough, that makes more sense. And while I agree thats good I will say floop is really good too, it is a reliable second hadronox that doesn't rely on no beasts in your dead pool (vs hex and polymorph) and is a played minion so would combo with ixilid unlike the spell, not to mention it can be a second n'zoth or if you want something in your dead pool and it gets transformed/devolved/shuffled you have another copy ready to go.
