We appreciate all of the volunteers who help behind the scenes to make Silver Creek Church who we are. So many small details are taken care of because they gave their time. We would like to send a special thank you to Jill Pratt for stickering nearly 5,000 Scrabble tiles for the James series we just finished! We also would like to say thank you to Dave Denholm. You may have noticed the passages written on the coffee sleeves if you enjoy our coffee on Sunday. Dave hand-writes each of the passages on all of the sleeves. It is the little details like these that allow us to make Silver Creek Church.
November is Adoption Awareness Month. At Silver Creek Church, we have plans to emphasize this amazing ministry because caring for orphans is a part of God’s call on our lives (James 1:27). Adoption is a great picture of the gospel. It’s both messy and beautiful and reminds us of what God has done for us. If you are looking to adopt or know someone who is interested, please feel free to reach out to us. We would love to come alongside of you through this journey and support you in any way we can.
Also, check out two organizations we work with regularly that also provide great support and information.
    The Bair Foundation - www.bair.org/
Caring for Kids, Inc. - cfkadopt.org/
Thank you and have a blessed week!
