Good evening sir I have one question crankshaft how to change the bearing explain the video are command more video sir thank you for your UA-cam channel
First dismantle the compressor. Remove existing journal bearing from crank shaft. If they are worn out replace with new bearings. Measure diametrical clearance of bearing by putting lead wire and tightening the bearing. Loose bearing and measure wire thickness. Difference in initial and final thickness of wire is Dia. Clearance. Other side clearance can be measured by filler gauge. The clearance shall minimum one micron for 10 mm Dia shaft and max 1.5 micron for 10 mm Dia shaft. After getting satisfactory clearance assemble the crank shaft sadly. While assembling bearing use lube oil spray on shaft. Thanks for question. You are welcome
Which type compressor you have. If journal bearings are there, please remove inspect and found clearance increases replace them with new bearing. After replacement measure the diametric clearance by filler gauge. Keep the clearances as per recommendation of manufacturer.

Sir how to cheek bottom clearance of double acting reciprocating compressor
There are two piston clearances to be measured, TDC and BDC, You can use filler guage or lead strip to measure the clearance. Put lead strip between piston and end cover and rotate compressor. The lead strip shall be measured initially prior to putting piston and end cover and after compression. The difference shall give you the clearance. Care shall be taken during rotation of flywheel. Please see video.
