9:00 I use to love that show as a kid lol the episode I remember most was them hearing one of the trash men cussing, so they all start cussing too. (But they play a noise in place of actually cussing of course)
Warner Bro built a basketball court next to the studio where they filmed Space Jam. It was something Michael asked for and they were happy to deliver. Some of the best games were played on that court, during the months he filmed Space Jam. Guys from all over the country would line up for a spot in that gym. And it all leads to Michael's unretirement and 3 more rings. Funny thing about MJ is that Space Jam is at the middle of his fantastic career. And the movie catches of glimpse of that.
If by, "The Sequel" you mean, "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" which even has a Jordan cameo then yes. If you mean, "Space Jam : A New Legacy" then at your own risk.
My favorite part of this is probably the tertiary plot-line with all of the "drained" NBA players constantly popping back up, trying increasingly desperate solutions. Jordan's decision to play baseball is subject to plenty of theories and debates to this day. For context of how bizarre it was: He and the Bulls were three-peat NBA Champions from '91-'93; Jordan then quits to play baseball; unretires in '95 after filming Space Jam(only played a few games at the end of that season) and proceeded to lead the Bulls to a second three-peat '96-'98. It's pretty widely documented that Jordan struggled with a crippling gambling problem, so one of the more popular theories is that this retirement was an agreement between him and the NBA to save face and avoid having to suspend the biggest star in the world when they found out his gambling extended to betting on NBA games.
Never seen this film or even heard of it before D: So a mute watch from me in case I do want to... But I saw michael jordan and that opening scene involved basketball so now I am curious and will have to go and look it up :3
If you haven't seen I would recommend Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It was also based on a book, titled slightly differently. The author liked the movie so much better than the sequel books referred to the first as a dream.
The second Space Jam isn’t that bad. It’s not The Godfather but I enjoyed it. I don’t know what people were expecting. Unlike the Disney remakes it’s not trying to pretend to be anything it’s not and is completely self aware. The best thing to do is see it yourself and see what you think. I would watch your reaction to it. Who framed Roger rabbit is based off a book. The animation in that is incredible. I also love Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and Hunchback of Notre Dame. All are based off of books.
Yeah judging by the trailer it looks just as much as a kid movie as this movie is so I didn't understand why people were so upset. I'm excited to see it one day! I've seen that movie years ago! I think I'm due for a rewatch. Oh I love Les Mis! It's my favorite musical and I read the book a few years ago. I have Phantom and Hunchback on my shelves right now so hopefully I can get to them soon.
@@dompishere3014 Les miz is one of my fave musicals too!! I read the book when I was ten years old because I fell in love with the musical. Phantom of the opera is absolutely worth reading and I’m obsessed with the musical. The 25th anniversary of the musical is on DVD/Bluray and I recommend watching that. It’s better than the movie. The movie is still brilliant. Hunchback of Notre Dame is quite a story. The Disney movie is great. It’s way up with some of my fave Disney films. Brilliant soundtrack. The musical adaption of the Disney version is even better because it’s more accurate to the book. My fave movie of all time, that happens to be a musical with Julie Andrews, is Victor/Victoria. No one ever reacts to it though which is a shame.
It’s not worth your time or patience to watch the second movie, it has nothing on the charm the og movie brought. Hell I’d go as far to say this sequel if you really wanna consider it a sequel practically has so little to do with the premise of the fist movie it should of just been called Cyber Jam, but if your gonna watch something starring the looney tunes once again I’d highly recommend Looney Tunes: Back in Action
I watched and love Space Jam. I hate Space Jam: A New Legacy because they fuck up Lola Bunny and took out Pepé Le Pew. That's why I didn't brother watching it

A couple other 2 pro-sport athletes were Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson, they were both NFL players who also played on the MLB.
I used to get confused at the 2 Sylvesters scene too, then I realized that was his son not another Sylvester.

She means Space Jam: A New Legacy. And for the record, I actually enjoyed that.

I loved that plotline! And wow I didn't know about these theories. Sounds like a rabbit hole I need to go down
@@dompishere3014 did you notice the button on the back of Michael Jordan's Dress Pants
This comment is about 2 years or so late, as I've only recently discovered this channel, but, hah, rabbit hole.
