The meter goes slower to encourage longer matches, and there could be potential ironman performances like from JBL, you'd never get that from the SVRs that came after. I love how damaged dudes can get too, like Cole and Hardcore, and did I mention the weight detection moves like when Batista throw out Scotty? This makes for so much good going on.
Only thing about the weight detection means you pretty much know cruiserweights won't win unless they get super lucky. But this is probably the most entertaining rumble so far imo!
I think its interesting that the first two entrants were the first two in the 2003 rumble which was 11 years after Ric Flair at number 3 and a year Harlem Heat won a tag belt with Stevie Ray and his brother Booker T. They all did it for Mr Luigi. That whole small section with Heyman was absolutely hilarious. JBL was in there for ages plus Randy Orton won and people were happy just like in the 2017 rumble
I like how the roster for the royaliest is shaping out. It almost looks like an actual Royal rumble style roster. A few main eventers, some midcarders, some odd comedic entries, and some legends. I do find it funny despite wwe games dominating the number of games in this rumblethon that there are only 3 active wwe wrestlers in the royaliest - kofi, orton and edge.
