the problem for casuals is that they play cards that do nothing and complain when people are playing cards that do things you can be a casual and play good cards
I guess I get your point, but its kinda hard to take it seriously when you could have won that game. DW screwed up by using Grapha, which opened them up for Evenly, which would have nuked their entire board. They get to keep one card, if they keep Hope, you lost, but if they chose anything else, you win because Necrovalley shuts down their entire deck, and they could not recover.
Does necrovalley actually do anything? The fusion spell’s recursion will be stopped, but grapha and reign-beaux’s summons are not effects, and the field spell’s banish is a cost too, not an effect
@aethersome Yes, you can summon both Grapha and Beaux from GY since they are not effects, but in order to summon them, you need to bounce a DW from your field, which is going to be pretty hard to do since the majority of DW summon from GY by effect. Cards cannot be banished from GY regardless of effect or cost, so even if he had a field spell, he could not activate it.
@@soulstarved4116 This is not true, Necrovalley negates all effects that move cards out of the GY in any form, banishing and special summoning is not allowed while NV is on the field. They're not even allowed to add the card to the field that would have been bounced for the special summon. This is on the official rulings for specific card interactions.
@daosxion776 Do you have a link, I can't find that ruling. Or tell me where I can find it, because I don't think YT allows links. But if so, then Necrovalley text is wrong, which isn't the first time, but summoning conditions aren't effects that can be negated. As Necrovalley states: "Negate any card effect that would move a card in the GY"
@@soulstarved4116 I'd love to share a link but as you said, YT hates links. It's under the yugioh ocg offical rulings website i found it from citation 14 from the "card rulings: Necrovalley" from the yugioh.fandom site. It is in Japanese but there is a translation provided on the page that cited it. basically it's because grapha's effect moves itself out of the GY to special summon and Necrovalley prevents any card from moving out of the gy PERIOD. it's the same effect that prevents the Bystial Lubellion from summoning itself from the GY but not preventing itself from summoning from the hand.
As i play dark world myself, i get it. It is not fun seeing up to 2 or 3 negate at the start. But at the same time, this is all that we can do. Hoping that our opponent has no interration and winnig because of that. Also you cuold have use hevely and make him rage quit, since he already used the grapha negate.
lol why not Perm ban Maxx C and see how many meta players quit!!!!! The real problem is "meta decks". Top decks that have no creativity at all and prevent opponent from playing at all. Stuff I can think of at moment. Ban these: Nibiru, Runik tip, Lab big welcome and Lovely Labrynth, destiny hero enforcer and dragoon, psyframe gamma and driver, Rageki for the fun of it. Also, anything that tributes your oponent's entire board without special condition of monster type or card effect other than monster effect. EXAMPLE: Clockwork night and chimeratech fortress dragon. Condition for tributing oppenent's board: all monsters turned into machines because of clockwork night's effect. In the case of nibiru: errata to either use a set number of monsters from oppenet's board or just straight out Perm ban. Shutting down opponent's from playing or starting combos to regain a board to play isn't sportsmanship at all. Limit to 1: Fallen of Albaz, all runik fusions and spells, destiny hero malicious, Rescue-ACE Turbulence and RESCUE!.
I know it takes long. But man do i think dark world has a cool deck concept. Especially the tcg version cause of silvva. Hand looping is a crazy idea. Even tho dark world is weak to handtraps
Hope Harbinger has a once per turn negate and steal on spells and traps, so Evenly wouldn't have worked. Grapha soft negates by changing an effect, Appolusa locks down Monster effects, and we don't even know what the three other set cards were. The Swordsoul user needed to burn two brackrow cards just to clear the way for Evenly, not counting the possibility of things like Solemn Judgment providing additional negates. The Swordsoul user *needed* either Droplet or Dark Ruler to get past the known board elements, but he didn't have either.
@@Ricky.Ricardo Grapha already used its negate, Dark World can't special summon from the graveyard with necrovalley, which is the main way they put bodies on the field, by constantly resummoning reign beaux and grapha
As a Dark world player since 2018, literally you just need to throw droll and thats all, even this dw deck from MD is nerfed bcs it has sillva banned xd
man this really sucks the fact he could also negate 2 of your spell activations is plain bs like you wait 4 mins for his turn only for you to be unable to activate anything how is this fun?? it's just a game of solitare it's lame asf and ruins Yugioh
you literally had the out
Should've just evenly matched anyway to see if they had anything and then scoop.

Dont forget he pitched lucent so he was able to put a monster on sword souls field stopping the evenly maybe even worse putting an Ido on his field.

funny how swordsoul was winning that because the DW player COMPLETELY fumbled everything, also not handlooping in DW is deranged
If u mean with Sillva he's banned in master duel for that specific reason.
Cant loop in md
Just Scoop when you think you don't have the means to get through those negates. It does not worth your time. Find a better matchup.

Better than 1 hour duels with 14 turns
