His stage name was Michael Junior. He comes from Belgium. From the age of 13 he toured internationally with a well-known Belgian singer called Helmut Lotti. He was about 16 at the time of this performance. He retired from performing in public a couple of years later and lives near Bruges in relative obscurity with his wife and 2 daughters

He tried everything : new manager, My Space, Britain's Got Talent, rehired by Piet Roelen...He also changed his religion from Roman Catholic to Pentecostal. I personally think he was a much better artist than Helmut Lotti but unlike Lotti he knew when to quit.
