I know that this video was posted a few years ago , but I wanted to say that I put the Rock Hard 4X4 bumper just like this one on my 1993 ZJ, 13 years ago. I bought a 2006 LJ 6 years ago & put one on it too. Now I have a 2002 WJ & in early July I put one on it also. I still see my old Jeeps around town & they are still on the vehicles. In all that time the only problem I had with them is on the ZJ, the mounting bracket underneath the pivot arm broke & needed to be welded two different times. We never had to remove the bumper & now it has been reinforced so it won't break again. I used to wheel the ZJ really hard, so that may have been most of the problem. I have only good things to say about Rock Hard 4X4 products. They are a top notch outfit.
"Man Bun" .. haha. Great looking bumper choice, very nice! I always look forward to your videos including the jeep buildup ones. thanks for making them!
GREAT SHOW,, BECAUSE OF YOUR SHOW I PURCHASE MY REAR BUMPER,PICKING IT UP FRIDAY, THANKS BRIAN OB 14974,,PS TOLD HARDROCK 4X4 I SAW YOUR VIDEO,THANKS AGAIN
Dude, I love your videos. love the new bumper, haven't like the idea of the spare out the back window, but you have inspired me to maybe do so.. as one Zonie to another, looks like you make a great choice
Thanks, Russell! I wasn't sold on it at first either. I do like the look of a tire and a bunch of gear up on the roof, but having everything on the rear bumper has been really nice -- and doesn't look bad either!
Nicely done video. Very informative and well edited. I’m going to be doing a ZJ DIY rear bumper so this helped me better understand the mounting process. Nice ZJ build. Subscribing👍
That's the same exact bumper I'm saving up for my ZJ! I'm gonna get both front and rear matching bumpers. Your line of videos has helped inspire me on what to do with my ZJ. Still debating between 31s or 33s though, with appropriate lift and gearing, of course
That's awesome to hear! I think you're going to be real happy with the bumpers. As far as 31s vs. 33s -- 31s would definitely be the easier route. 33s would require some pretty serious trimming and a bigger lift. I've had no issues with the 31s out on the trail. Can't wait to hear how your build goes, I always appreciate you watching our videos!
@@azoffroad_net That's great to hear! I can't wait for the day it's all built. Im leaning more towards the 31s, I think. Thanks again! 🇺🇸 And hopefully see you out on the trails one day
If you're gonna do it, do it right. Well done. People underestimate the amount of rattling and shaking that is produced with a weak carrier. This looks to be about as solid and quiet as it can get. Question. If you do a fuel tank tuck you order a tank skid plate that is made for that configuration?
Looks great! I'm considering this same setup for when I eventually get there with my ZJ; that said, how do you feel about losing some visibility out of the rear? That's been my biggest concern with mounting a rear tire carrier on mine.
Nice work on your Jeep, looks really good. Question for you, I'm out in buckeye/verrado area and all of the trails between verrado and watson have been blocked off and covered in barbed wire... are there any decent dirt bike trails near me that you can recommend?
Thanks, Michael! I don't have any dirt bike-specific recommendations, but I know there is some good riding in Robbins Butte and Sonoran Desert National Monument south of Buckeye. A little further to the west both Belmont Mountain and Big Horn Mountain Trail are also pretty nice.
Hello, I have a grand cherokee 2008 3.0 crd. I'm looking for a good upgrade and your looks very nice the only things that will be helpful is the price or cost (rough idea) for any step. Let me know if is possible to have it
its nice to see some love for the ZJ!

Simply Garza would definitely recommend not going over 31s

Have you put on rock slider?

I’ve got a rear bumper like that on my yj
Where did you get the gas tank skid plate?

Let me know if is possible to have it
2020 still working on my 1995 and in not paying that for my zj
Since I have a hitch receiver I’m gonna guess I need to take it off?
Yep. That will come off with or before the gas tank skid. Everything mounts using the same bolts.
www.azoffroad.net thanks!
excelente
Yeah, this cool! But here in Germany is this prohition.
