How to Install iOS 18 Beta for Free on Your iPhone

Apple has dropped beta profiles, but you can still get the iOS 18 beta for free without needing a beta profile! In this video, I’ll show you how to install both the Developer Beta and the Public Beta of iOS 18. Follow these steps to upgrade your iPhone and enjoy the latest features before anyone else!
Step 1: Backup Your iPhone
Before installing any beta software, it’s crucial to back up your data and files. Here’s how:
Using Finder (macOS Catalina or later):
1. Connect your iPhone to your Mac.
2. Open Finder and select your device from the sidebar.
3. Create a backup and then click "Manage Backups" to archive it.
Using iTunes (macOS Mojave or earlier/Windows):
1. Connect your iPhone to your computer.
2. Open iTunes and select your device.

Step 2: Install iOS 18 Beta
Method 1: Update Over-The-Air (OTA)
1. Go to the Apple Developer Center (developer.apple.com/account) and log in with your Apple ID.
2. You don’t need to join the Apple Developer Program; just log in and agree to the terms.
3. On your iPhone, go to Settings → General → Software Update → Beta Updates and choose the iOS 18 Developer Beta option.
4. Go back to Software Update, wait for the iOS 18 beta to appear, and start downloading.
5. Tap the "Download and Install" button to update.
Troubleshooting if you don’t see the beta option:
1. Quit and relaunch the Settings app.
2. Ensure you’re running iOS 16.4 or later.
3. Restart your iPhone.
Method 2: Using Beta IPSW Files
1. Download the IPSW Beta File:
On your computer, download the .ipsw file for your device from the IPSWbeta.dev website. Make sure to select the correct device.
2. Install the IPSW File:
Using Finder (macOS) or iTunes (Windows):
Connect your iPhone to your computer.
Open Finder (or iTunes) and select your device.
In the Summary panel, hold the Option key (Mac) or Shift key (Windows) and click "Check for Update."
Select the IPSW beta file and click Open to start the installation.
Using Apple Configurator:
Download Apple Configurator from the Mac App Store.
Connect your iPhone to your Mac.
Drag the .ipsw file onto the device image in Apple Configurator and choose Update.
After installing the beta, your device will reboot and will require a network connection to complete activation.
