We played this song in my middle school symphony really really loved this piece. Although I didn't get to play the cool parts because I played also sax I'm the band we played this in :(

I don't know how loud you play, but most of the time you need to play with more air instead of playing louder. This way, your sound gets "broader". It's really hard to do and really hard to explain so you should ask your teacher for more clarification, but I hope it helps :)

I can't give you a recommendation for the trigger, both should do the job. And I prefer yellow, gold or red brass over silver, but that's just my taste.

It's got Hagmann valves by the looks of it - I think it's a Bach - not sure what model.
