I love how you make every brick infused with narrative when you do a MOC. It's like you don't build anything for no good reason, nor simply because it "looks nice". There's a story behind everything, and that is awesome. After a ~20 year "dark age", I happily embraced the MOC identity just a few months before I turned 30, and I can't remember ever being happier. Your channel has played a big part in that, and I can only hope that at some point in the distant future I can say with confidence that my skill with, and collection of Lego is maybe approaching a third of yours. Keep up the good work Jang, you're a true inspiration.
This is the video that made me start building again as an adult. And it is humbleing, everything from collecting sets and pieces, to sorting and finding room for storage. Not to mention its an expensive hobby, but all worth it.
I didn't get OCD with the stair part, lol. But the jail-cell wing really threw me for a loop! Jang is such a logical and rational man that it confuses me that he didn't reverse the position of the security office in the jail-cell wing to share a wall with the police chief's office. I've seen a lot of real-life offices with sliding windows or drop-box connecting features, and that was a missed opportunity here. Additionally, even if it were a sealed glass window, being able to see directly into the prison wing's security office would be useful for the Police chief. And last of all, the police chief office sharing a wall with a prison cell just seems wonky.
A simple way to expand this would be to put a watch tower on the roof. It'd add style and enhance the oppressive mood of it, and I see you have some tower parts from the police station sets you've already reviewed.
At first I did feel that it was perhaps too minimal a design on the front, but now I understand your concept. I have to say I really like your thought process. The design reflects a sort of efficient and draconian way of treating prisoners, but then the whole thing is perfectly offset by your humor of the reasons behind the imprisonments. Excellent details inside too. Like I said all is very well thought out.
Impressive build, I really like it. There is pro and contra with making it closed up all around and I would leave the backside open for playability but I find your removable floors super well done! Good job!
Your imagination is way out there I’m kind of envious that I don’t think the way you do I built a lot of my own custom spaceships from the Lego space series bricks in the late 80s when I was a kid but this is something else 😀
One suggestion coning from a graphic designer. The front of the cell block could probably use one or two thin (single brick) stripes (blue or black?) going across that wall and maybe even around the corner on the left. Kind of like the wall behind the receptionist. That would break up the whiteness, and make the section appear wider. Just an idea. Beautiful work over all.
This is the coolest and the best police station I have ever saw. I wish this was an actual set. I love everything about this! The waiting room, the garage, the office, the emergency room, the jail cells, it's all amazing!!! You are the best at making buildings. You manage to fit all of this in only 2 floors!! How long did it take you to make this?
this is very creative and very well done. the 'normal' lego city police station sets are much less detailed and much less beautiful etc. I used to play with legos but I stopped a feew years ago but your videos encouraged me to start again.
Hey Jang, I think one thing that MANY of us would enjoy is the instructions for the two vehicles that were parked in the stations’ garage. I wouldn’t mind paying for them. Thanks.
Hey! I'd love to see you build a new hospital moc in this amount of detail! Love that all important parts of a police station is well covered including the several cells! Great MOC.
Half expected there to be a skeleton in the open space in the wall, for the "old" commissioner before he got replaced after he mysteriously disappeared a few years ago.
I've always wanted to make a lego roller coaster but the idea of banked turns or even a chain hill and then the turn over the drop always seems to hard to make. That would be really cool to see. Some people have made some but they don't look real. You obviously can make things look real, so if you could make a coaster with supports (kinda like a wooden roller coaster) that would be great. It could be part of Lego City's amusement park. Haha. Anyway nice job
I reallly like how Jang give a personnality to every folks XD and Really nice build hope you continue to bring more MOCs to even if Lego bring so much set released every year !
Wow Legojang, this is incredible ! The ammount of details and thought but into this is great ! I don't even like lego all that much (compared to bionicle and Hero Factory) but these city mocs are cool. I love the people in the jail and how you explained how they got there lol ! Looks like it's gonna be a somewhat futuristic and corrupt city ! :)
This is a VERY nice build. Everything in it's right place and so detailed! Thanks for sharing your amusing narrative. The drone is clever - I like. Only thing is I'm not a huge fan of the "modern art". It is an interesting idea though.
jang I just got to say that you are very inspiring and that I love your mocs. I love them. thanks. I try building that with the pieces I had not easy but it was fun to try. Thank you!
"it's about having vast number of different types of parts"... sadly for me, truer words have never been spoken about LEGO. but great job on all your custom sets, they're all great
I understand exactly what you mean about not having the parts. I'd love to do good custom Star Wars or military aviation Lego models, but don't have the requisite parts in the required colors.
Wow I have to say that is amazing... I think its better than all the other police stations Lego has made. I thought that the drone is amazing I love it! It was like the tardice its small on the outside and massive on the inside. I subscribe to ur vids now. I have liked this video.
I think we should start a petition to release police dog . Clearly he was no trained properly by the station and was unaware of the laws he was breaking. #freepolicedog
She loves it. You have seen her participate in a number of recent speed build vids. If I had a gf who didn't like it, I would respect that and just keep her separate from it. There would only be a problem if she specifically disliked *me* because of my hobbies. If that was the case, either because she was shallow or just really strongly opposed to what I did for some other reason, we would break up because she would not be good for me, and I would not be good for her.
The prisoner's stories made me laugh
I love how you make every brick infused with narrative when you do a MOC. It's like you don't build anything for no good reason, nor simply because it "looks nice". There's a story behind everything, and that is awesome.

SWEET BRO! That’s amazing
This is the video that made me start building again as an adult. And it is humbleing, everything from collecting sets and pieces, to sorting and finding room for storage. Not to mention its an expensive hobby, but all worth it.
this is one of the best police stations i've ever seen!
Wow, your attention to detail in such a compressed Lego world is amazing.
I didn't get OCD with the stair part, lol. But the jail-cell wing really threw me for a loop!

I love the fact that you put thoughts in the mini figure placements, their character and objectives! Some are hilarious!! :D
I show overviews of my city every time there's an update! Check 'em out on the blog or on my channel!
A simple way to expand this would be to put a watch tower on the roof. It'd add style and enhance the oppressive mood of it, and I see you have some tower parts from the police station sets you've already reviewed.
If only your creations were real in lego stores( THAT WILL BE VERY GOOD )
I would totally buy your mocs! haha but no you inspire me to build me own!
MyNameIsJeff cause he doesn't want to get copyright
MyNameIsJeff I agree I would buy them
Yeah that would be cool but a set like this would cost like, $750.
Rainbow Dash Swag I would buy 10 anyways
You could put a secret door between the Chiefs office and the blank space. Then it could be his slush fund/corruption room.
Very creative work. Well done!
I love that you are playing with sets like a kid would :O)
Most adults loose that creative side somehow.
At first I did feel that it was perhaps too minimal a design on the front, but now I understand your concept. I have to say I really like your thought process. Jang, I love how you pay attention to detail! Keep it up man!
this should be a set
Frosty Vision it cant
Sampaks 29 it could be
Impressive build, I really like it. There is pro and contra with making it closed up all around and I would leave the backside open for playability but I find your removable floors super well done! Good job!
This lego police station is better than any actual lego company police station (no offense lego company).
??? i like this one ,but i like the lego one more
+MrCookieG Uk Sorry but you're WRONG!!!!!!!!
EVERYONE has their own opinion!
+MrCookieG Uk True let's just agree to disagree and set aside our differences.
yea

Just amazing!! Best police station ever!!!
And the chief is so deluxe, he even smokes a Clone Trooper helmet flashlight :D
jang,i hate when you do stuff like this, because i want to buy it but i cant because you made it yourself and its sooooo cool
this is very creative and very well done. the 'normal' lego city police station sets are much less detailed and much less beautiful etc. I used to play with legos but I stopped a feew years ago but your videos encouraged me to start again.

Man wow this is amazing good job

Looks awesome !!!!
That Station Is awesome!! I Love it I think it is really realistic. The Drone adds a little more coolness.
Every thing you build is fantastic, awesome, amazing and brilliant :)
Amazing build maybe you should add an impound lot behind the police station but still it is amazing.

The mix of white and blue looks amazing!
love how you give a story to every small detail inside the Police station
Excellent police station. Would make a great Lego modular set. Very impressed!
I gotta say ur custom police station is above and beyond
I thought he had a criminal figure from the space police series in jail cause he is a "illegal alien"
They're called undocumented aliens. You need your privilege checked.
ha ha what the heck
+Tomasz Losinski They can be called either. And undocumented alien is usually here illegally, therefore his adjective is applicable.
An
He-Man ! HEYEAHEAHEAHEA
oh man this is mindblowing.. stunning custom work!!
The chief looks like john wick
I like how he calls this a simple custom build yet mine are a block with wheels
I reallly like how Jang give a personnality to every folks XD and Really nice build hope you continue to bring more MOCs to even if Lego bring so much set released every year !

Sometimes, I like to think that Jang is just two floating arms and a disembodied voice reviewing Legos. :)
lol
I like it!
You are so good at your stuff .
I watch you all the time
It looks like a normal lego set! It's so professional!! Great job!
jang your creations are very impressive and its some of the best ive seen and i really hope to see more of this creative building
Part of me wants to have Luke, Chewie, and Han stage a Death Star styled prison break where they try to break Slave Leia out of prison.... :D
so impressed with the detail of this MOC
Thanks but I'm keeping it like it is because everything is the way I want it :)
i'm jealous! every thing looks awesome, but damn the chief's office damn it is the best part of all amazing moc jang!
This is a VERY nice build. Everything in it's right place and so detailed!
Thanks for sharing your amusing narrative. The drone is clever - I like.
Only thing is I'm not a huge fan of the "modern art". It is an interesting idea though.
You are a great Lego creator I like how you have a story for each prisoner
i love these older vids!!!!
I really like this MOC it's cool
I love the way you did the building.
Thank you for responding Jang! I never thought any youtuber would do that.
That's a great MOC build man, very life like and realistic
jang I just got to say that you are very inspiring and that I love your mocs. I love them. thanks. I try building that with the pieces I had not easy but it was fun to try. Thank you!
Nice LEGO man
They still sound way better than the police in my country!!!! Keep up the good work.
Best jangbricks video EVER!!!
Absolutely amazing. I love the details on the inside.
COOL and very detailed.
"it's about having vast number of different types of parts"... sadly for me, truer words have never been spoken about LEGO. but great job on all your custom sets, they're all great

The set is very cool ,fantastic and huge
I think you should even out the stairs if you havent. Theres lots of solutions to fix it.
You should send your costum builds to LEGO and maybe they will publish it because it is great
great moc Jang, you are an awesome builder, love seeing you work, so glad you do what you do, thanks heaps buddy, a fellow lego lover andy,
Great job on this moc!
your stories make these mocs so much better :)
This is incredible, and inspiring. Thank you so much!
Jang respect you build some pretty amazing stuff
the scale of this is ......O_O! Respect!

I have a feeling jang has a thing against cops
Looks so professional!!
Absolutely loving your models.
Wow I have to say that is amazing...
I think its better than all the other police stations Lego has made. I thought that the drone is amazing I love it! It was like the tardice its small on the outside and massive on the inside. I subscribe to ur vids now. I have liked this video.

jang your giving me ideas and ways to make MY mocs! your buildings are awesome!!
Well done Jangbricks. I'm looking forward to seeing more Lego MOCs :)
this should be a set! XD so much more detailed and thought-through!
Jang, will you ever make a video for tips and guides for new lego buyers/builders? I would like to see that. Thank you!
Hi jang I really liked how you built that lego police station I was wondering if you could tell me how to build it please?
I think we should start a petition to release police dog . Clearly he was no trained properly by the station and was unaware of the laws he was breaking. #freepolicedog
Wow, those cops... they really are mean! hahaAnd your police chopper is pretty cool!:) I love that militaristic-looking nose. Like, the Blue Thunder
you should ad some swat unit and like a station to ad to it giving them a bit of an edge
Nice job Jang! I love your police station.
This is awesome. Every part works so well together! :D
