@@birthtoolbox thank you so much, I’m 38 weeks tomorrow and my hips and back have been aching but no show yet. My doctor even checked me on my last appointment Wednesday and said bleeding because of that is normal but I haven’t. I thought it might be necessary before going into labor but that is great to know thank you!
I’m 40 weeks and 2 days and just lost my mucus plug. Does this mean I’ll go into labour over the next couple days. Have an induction booked for late next week and I’m trying to avoid it if I can
If you are in labor it could continue on and off until birth. If before labor you should see it stop. If there is a lot of bleeding I would see your doctor or midwife.
@user-sj6sk4gg8s hi I'm currently 39 weeks pregnant, and was wondering how did it go for you? Did you ended up asking your OB about this bloody show goin on for more than once? I honestly been wearing a pad, and no contractions but my bloody shows keeps coming out, mainly when I go for walks. Seen my OB at 39 weeks but say I was only 2 dilated. I started of with like 3 big mucus plug with a greenish and clear mucus but it's been like 3 days it comes out like a bloody show.
Thanks for watching! ❤️

Thank you!
You're welcome!
I'm 39+... Yesterday doctor told me 1.5 cm dilated but no any discharge and today i lost mucus plug... Is it mean I'm more dilated???
You could be or could not be. It could easily be either way. I’m excited for you and your upcoming birth journey.
I’ve been looking around but I can’t find info on this anywhere, does every woman have this bloody show? Or is it a certain percentage only.
Not everyone has it. When the cervix dilated quickly it is more common. It is really dependent upon your body.

I am in my 38 weeks of pregnancy and for me it’s a heavy blood flow like a period but my doctor says it’s a bloody show
If you are having a heavy blood flow I would go to the hospital.
I have been having contractions all night 34 weeks 5th baby just exta creaming discharge is this normal
An increase in discharge is common, but if it seems unusual for you then I would contact your doctor or midwife.
um...my cousin getting more blood from 5 months to going to be 8 month. it has soak large pads overnight ones and get pain
This is something that she should talk with her doctor about as soon as possible.
