I reached 20 Pullups in less then 1 year. Unlocked my first Pullup in feb 2024 on a Pullup bar that I installed in my room and in the first month I was upto 10 Pullups, whenever I entered and leave my room I will do some pullups and that paid off. Now my PR is 21 Pullups. Planning on reaching 25 Pullups till Feb 2025. Btw I do Full ROM clean Pullups, so my form is perfect.
My progres is same as yours bro I think after 20+ pullups the best thing we can do increase our muscle ups.My muscle ups max 3 and my form is not perfect but in pullups ı have perfect clean form so training for muscle ups would be good idea if you are not good at it
@@CanberkUslu First Im gonna achieve that 25 pullups and then muscle ups. Btw Im gonna start weighted calisthenics in feb or march to increase my strength and then muscle ups will become a little easier.
Is there a reason, why you only do pull-ups until the chin clears the bar? It seems like it’s cutting the range of motion short. I’ve been doing (deadhang pause at the bottom) pull-ups on one of those hoist fitness stations with two red knobs (pronated grip), and I count my reps when I can get my shoulders to touch the back of my hands. I’m stuck at around 16 reps from a deadhang, so I’ve started do paused pull-ups (where I pause at the top of the movement with a deadhang at the bottom … someone on UA-cam mentioned this would help increase pull-ups strength and eventually reps). I did 12 pull-ups with pauses at the top from the deadhang position 2 weeks ago.
i do often train chest to bar pull ups (look at my most recent vid) to improve my explosiveness but for the sake of this video i just did normal pull ups. plus i find that when i pull higher on pull ups, the top part of the rep hits mostly my biceps and forearms and im mostly trying to hit my lats
@@Darian.Kovacevic No specific methods, I believe you can progress as long as you train hard enough (close to failure) and find the right amount of sets that allow you to fully recover for the next workout. Personally for me, my sweet spot is about 4 sets twice a week

I think i'm the only who can do 10 pull ups just like that, not even training or doing any kind of sport, but the funny thing is when i workout regularly i barely can do more than 10 with perfect form.

Hi. Im 16 and im stuck on 16kg pullups for 6 reps. Do you know what i should do? should i decrease weight or? Also another question, how often should i train pullups? and also, is it okay to just do normal pullups after weighted pullups?
@@0x0f2 that’s really good for 16. I wouldn’t decrease the weight but make sure your properly recovered when you do pull ups. Personally training pull ups twice a week (about 4-5 sets per workout) worked best for me

How many can you do in a row? You seem to be light on your pull-ups, i feel you got at least 30 in the tank..
