Hi, I'm new to the BMW 1250 GS. What is a good RPM range to cruise in like on back roads? Is 4-5k RPM too high or is that is when the bike is happy? Would love some advice, the shift light seems to want me to shift wayyy too low RPMs.

BMW R1250GS is not perfect
Windshield not adjustable at hiway speed
Lot of road/ tire noise comes up below the dash specially on hiway
Getting the TFT to work with cardo can be a pain just remember to always start cardo before turning bike power
In the low version the kick stand can be a too long be careful of where you park it also kick stand doesnt lock when on side stand always park it in gear

For road noise change your tires. I fitted Michelin road 6's. Road noise reduced by about 70%
