One of my favorite things about Bryan is how effortless it looks to play him high level, when in reality the fundamental knowledge, timing, and reads needed to get those counter hits and taunt set ups is unreal
For anyone that doesn’t know. U can actually heat burst for a combo off of 1+2, 2 on counter hit. Not sure if it works on all characters or just bigger ones.
Awesome to share this T8 journey with you to GOD. A bryan mains inspiration, mad respect and love for your grind, skill and knowledge. God bless you brothermans 💜
Hey man, any advice for getting turtled as bryan in the neutral? I understand conditioning lows through hatchet kicks and pokes but I feel like I'm getting low parried more than ever in tekken 8 when doing so. When I try to utilize taunt, it's just asking for whiff from somebody back dashing. Any advice?
I'm not the best player by any means, but QCF1+1(safe now), Qcb2, and 3+4 have been helping alot. Even just getting in closer and using a single jab has been helping trying to make them press
I would advise to do more df1 checks, because I've ran into the same problem once. If they turtle you can keep it simple with jabs df1, F3, db3 and d4. Your hatchets getting low parried because your timing is predictable and it's predictable because you're trying to force your opponent to not turtle, and you don't need to do that. Let them turtle, eventually inch by inch they will lose decent amount of life to small pokes and they would want to press something
At that rank people are constantly doing punishable moves, panic buttons, and strings you can duck. Space people out and get them to wiff. Before mighty ruler (and even mighty ruler) you can get by by letting people hang themselves Also when you have advantage go for ch launchers and space out with 3+4
It's too slow, people (not in the lower ratings) can react (which is way worse than being read) to it without much problem and punish you extremely hard. You could use it for a hard read high crusher, but even then it's too risky, which is why you see it rarely being used. In the lower rating you can abuse it since they seldom block low, react too slowly or react wrongly to it, mix it with b1, qcb1 and orbital (your low crusher) and you can really mess people up in the low ratings.
@@BandaiSCUM Considering he lost ONE counter hit launcher from Tekken 7 but GAINED a bunch of other interweavable strings, cancels, pokes and a guard breaking wallsplat, hmmmmm, I would say (and know) that he is much better than his Tekken 7 incarnation and also very strong in comparison to other Tekken 8 characters.
@KarlKognition One counter hit launcher? Bro, magic 4 and all its extension, FC DF+4, FF+4, second hit of QCB+2,4, second hit of ss+2,4, natural hit launcher ss+1, 3+4 knock down (not a launcher but super important for his taunt game). Trade all that for qcb+1, some sway options, and 3+4 charge guard breaker that can be sidewalked on reaction?
It’s a shame when in tekken 7 when learning a main your most valuable thing is combo dmg, everyone past red rank was going for max dmg making it impossible to learn otherwise. Now I’m watching the number one Bryan in the world spam heat charge moves like he’s never ever seen this character before on top of doing the the most baby brain combos. It takes 10 mins to find anything more effective than the basic combos they teach you in his simple combos..This game is just something.

Some say he does too much damage, but as a Bryan main, you definitely have to work for it. There's no real cheese or vortex.
@dragonfx310 the "cheese" we have tbf is hatchet and Qcb1.
Yeah, watching playing Bryan seems very easy but in reality is maybe the hardest character
@@jerseyscum9126 How is hatchet cheese if half the roster can challenge it if ur trying to throw out a 2nd one?
@Annihilation99 It's not "cheese" he just doesn't know what he's talking about, man.
Is it just me or is the sound delayed?
only the first leg of the video
Congrats, I've recently discovered your content, and it taught me how to use basic Bryan moves. Thank you for the content you make

Yeah. U don’t need counter hit tho

Congrats man! Last I played tekken was TK 6:DR - Bryan main here. Learning a lot from you.
Holy shit those taunt jet uppers are crazy, I can't even do one in practice mode
just press back and 2 at the same time
Audio messed up :(

I need SOOOO many Bryan Tutorials.
Fancy seeing you here! 😁
@@troygorl bro... What can I say? I see Bryan vids. I comment.
9:37 dude should send you 5 HUNDRED bucks for that shit. I can't believe it worked.
Hi, I know df1 series tracks great to Bryans left, but what generic (non tracking move) tracks to his right? Thank you!
Congrats man! Well deserved
Your Bryan is so damn good, i have to learn from you
Nice! Congrats.
audio is not synced up with the vid
Ty I know u probably did it before but can u do another video about taunt setups specifically taunt jet uppers
Playng Bryan in this game is a torture for me dunno how you do it 😅
Whens the taunt snake edge tutorial?
Heyhey what sorta controller does Ty Tekken and folk use? a fight stick? ive always used controller but tempted to try Fight Stick
19:40+ stiff.. that was 1 furious kombo

The sway when you get back ...

Man I’m missing your streams now. Hopefully I’ll catch you again live, missing the Ty gang.
i hardly see people use snake edge even when downed. is it too easy to read?

Rather do snake dash for hard reads on highs. Can snake dash under and ws1 by reacting to the high.
On top of always being a very risky move, Snake Edge has also been nerfed pretty badly in T8 since you can’t get a full combo off of it anymore
This guy is insane
Hmm I see I can get High rank and I m not a 18 hit combo master. I see you are using Bryan in the right domination way with all his skills.
Damn your a best, on day I will be a great Tekken player! Who do y'all think my main should be??????👈👈👈👈
Nice Hank
you should but your twitch link in the description of your videos.

ur pretty fucking good at this game ! nisuuu
Woahhh thx!!!!
I think you were better as a Tekken 7 Bryan.

well done
It’s region specific. Some regions don’t allow god in the name so they say lord instead. Lord/God of destruction are the same rank

Well done! Not as sexy looking as I was imagining based on the voice.
Bryan's ass in this game. Suprised you got him to max rank soo fast.
Heh? No he's not ass.
Eh Bryan is not ass 😂
@drippy2342 I mean, considering he lost half his counter hit launchers coming from T7 to T8 and Feng got untouched I'd say he's ass.
