Every night my 5 yr old listens to a Christian radio station to help her with her fear of sleeping alone in the dark and your song was playing..hearing her sing “fear you don’t own me... fear your not welcome here” brought such joy to my heart. 💜 this is our favorite song!

This song has become my anthem. February 2018 I was diagnosed with a life threatening heart and lung disease. I was given 2 years. I am still here by the Grace of God. There is No room for Fear! I am a bit slower and on oxygen but have a loving husband and 2 boys who are amazing. God is so Good. ♡
Yes Thank God . I didn’t know anything about enlarge heart and CHF and Arterial Afribulation . In the beginning I thought I was dying. I’d been in a coma 5 years now . I’m still alive and living Praise God Jesus. Greatful

Ive always heard this song on the radio but I never really noticed it till one day. I’m majorly scared of severe weather and one day I was driving home, almost crying from fear due to the severe weather all around me. This song came on and it was like it was touching my shoulder trying to get me to pay attention to it. The moment I heard this song, my anxiety and fear left and from now on I use this song whenever I’m feeling scared. Sometimes God works in mysterious ways but he will always be near you and with you. ‘Fear not’ is stated in the Bible 365 times so everyday, for 365 days, 24/7 you should not have fear in your heart.

Been there you can't live in fear. The devil will do almost anything to make you believe it is safer. That is only so far from the truth though. The first thing you have to do is find courage the second...strength...third guilt...and the reason I say guilt because that with the other two things is what gives you a reason to change the course of direction your on. Without the guilt knowing you could do see feel and have the opportunity to experience better do you think you'd move? Honestly...think about it.

I have been there too. This song is now in my no more domestic violence playlist! He hates that playlist so much, as does my sister and his new wife. They have all three of them tried to get it shut down multiple times because they know people see it and know they have done me dirty. @nikkirita9934

I have anxiety and I’ve lived in fear for about a year, a little over, I’m still young and have no clue how to deal with this and I remember having an anxiety attack a few days ago and I laid in my parents bed and my mom turned on this song and instantly “sick and tired of being sick and tired” I just knew I needed to listen to this song, it’s one of my favorites I love it so much and it speaks so much truth! Thank you Jesus 🥳
omg thats truly amazing i have anxiety too i go to the gym i love it and I use an app called headspace. Anxiety doesnt overtake your life though god can take it away. This song is so good for anxiety though i completely agree. its also a good reminder God loves u Dont forget that hes here if u want to talk to him

These past 2 years, my family and I's life has turned. There has been a lot of battles with medical issues, betrayal from friends, and facing a lot of unknowns. But, why fear the unknown, when we have a God who knows our unknowns. He sees everything we do, and everything we go through. He hears our cries and knows our every need. Why do I need to fear, when the God who made and named every grain of sand and star in the sky is by my side?

I have a friend who is scared of EVERYTHING and this song brings her to a happy place that I tried my hardest to get her to but I couldn't. It's just gotten worse in the past couple of years. Like as far as being afraid to leave my house! Well, something has recently happened in my life where I'm gonna have to face a lot of Fears in my life and it's terrifying to me. I always hid from my fears and I can't anymore. Fear has held me back so much and I'm sick of it. Long story short I've made your song my anti-fear anthem! This song touches me so much and gives me so much hope! I'm ready for to leave! This song has really helped me through. My mind has a way of taking something completely normal, and twisting it into something that has me sobbing in my bed at night, and even yelling at God sometimes because I'm so scared! For a while, I was even skeptical, thinking: Maybe God just doesn't exist, because if he did, would he let Satin pollute my mind like this? I thought that he was supposed to be protecting me from evil!
It didn't help that whenever I went online, I saw something that someone posted that just made me want to stop thinking for good. But when I heard her words, I thought, Could it REALLY be that easy? So, that night, I sang this song and said,

I never really STOPPED being afraid...but every time I start to think something morbid or ungodly, I think, God is here, and he's gonna make sure that everything is okay.

It came on the radio at the perfect time years ago while I was driving on the freeway beaten down by life and feeling trapped tied to my abuser..I contemplated for an instant and then the lyrics pierced through the manic haze and I remembered who I am how much I’d been capable of so far and to keep faith and God in my heart no matter.

Well I was unexpectedly sobbing through this! Especially at the end, where you're packing up all those things. I've been struggling really bad lately with various things... most of it coming back to feeling like I'm not enough... Whether it's not pretty enough, not skinny enough, not friendly enough, not good enough at work, not a good enough wife or mother or sister or daughter or friend etc... Just plain not enough. This song touched me so much the first time I heard it I started crying
Went through a stressful two months with Covid a hospitalization due to severe chest pains and some work issues I remembered this song a few days ago and put it on blast. I clung to every word crying and praying and letting God be in control which I am not good at doing. God came through I am recovering well from post Covid and I am now working in a different hotel for the same company and working my way up the ladder

Agreed. I think she's trying to bfring her songs into mainstream radio, to bring people positive music with Christ behind the words. Of course stations nowadays would never play music that mentions Christ, regardless of how good it is.
I couldn't agree with you more. I can't believe that Francesca Battistelli is even considered a Christian artist. I've never heard any of her songs mention Jesus, the Holy spirit, or God. I saw her open for Jeremy Camp a few years ago when she was about 8 months pregnant and I was completely turned off. Her music is just way too worldly and shallow to be considered a Christian artist. Not here to judge, but we're all entitled to our opinion. Can't see how her music glorifies God. one bit. Count how many times she says "I" and "me".

@@steveschwartz5417 She's one of my favorite contemporary Christian artists. I'm super sensitive to the spiritual side of music and want to be very careful about what I listen to. I find most of her music powerfully inspirational and spiritual... with the type of lyrics that can only be penned by the heart of someone who has a deep and sincere relationship with God. You probably have only listened to her most popular mainstream songs? Here are some of her songs that are clearly Biblically based that I find so powerful: Defender, Holy Spirit, Write Your Story, He Knows My Name, Giants Fall, There's No Other Name, Messiah, Run to Jesus, Hands of God, We are the Kingdom...and more.
However I agree with you in that some of her songs aren't actually worship songs, some are "fun" songs with a positive and uplifting Chrstian message mixed in with more spiritual songs. I'm not sure how anyone could mistake her music for being about anything but God...
I have been diagnosed with complex PTSD many things happened in my life too close together in 2018- my dad died, my boss bullied me at work, I felt inner responsibility to make sure my mom was ok since she was alone, my husband and I were fighting over me leaving him to be with mom it was horrible. One day I cracked, I was dizzy all the time my brain was overloaded I know now with stress and PTSD. I haven’t left the house since 2019 bc of dizziness. Doctors misdiagnosed me for years. Now I can say I have a therapist that helps me through this complex trauma, my husband and I have worked out our issues and I left my job to work on myself and get out of a mentally abusive relationship. As I left the house today to go into a big grocery store for the first time in 4 years god, my amazing god put this song on the radio as I was pulling out of the driveway! Thank you for that song and praise god for knowing what I’m need when I don’t!

Fear is a tactic that the enemy of my soul has often tried to use...I made a poster of I Timothy 1:7 (For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and love and a sound mind), framed it and hung it on the wall near my bed to remind me of God's promises, I also play either the Bible or a preaching cd on low to create an atmosphere to fight fear of either bad dreams or thoughts. I believe the positive Word of God fights the negativity of fear. Praying for you! Agreeing with you in prayer that you are cancer free!

This is amazing!! I love the title and how this video is set up like a breakup with the letter,suitcase, and telephone. I struggle with anxiety on a daily basis and often feel like fear really does own me and control me when really I am strong, brave, and free and can pack it up and throw it out the window. I love how it says 'I've gone through the motions I've been back and forth', since I've tried before to get rid of it and always seem to 'stay in the relationship' when really I need to breakup with it and send it packing. Oh my God FEAR “False emotions appearing real”. I struggled for years with fear after a divorce. I became so fearful to venture out. I said fear you will never be welcome in my life again. Started a relationship approximately 1year plus post divorce and fear came upon me once again. I am still struggling but I am confident that I will find myself again. Love that song, it meant much to me.
