It took me watching this reaction to see the "plot" of this album. She becomes infatuated with someone (Julien) and it becomes physical (No Drug Like Me) and grows increasingly romantically and sexually liberating (Now That I Found You) (Want You in My Room), some emotional attachment develops (Everything He Needs). But then some insecurities develop about how HE might feel (Happy Not Knowing) so she tries to compensate (I'll Be Your Girl) but then develops insecurities about how SHE feels (Too Much) and realizes this might be LOVE (The Sound), which she then recaps on (Automatically in Love) and then celebrates (Feels Right). Unfortunately, they fall out of sync (Right Words Wrong Time) but she's not afraid to say what she really wants (Real Love) and that this journey with this person is coming to an end (For Sure). And in the end, everything will be okay and we'll put ourselves back together (Party for One).

This album was a grower for me, the start and end were so strong for me but I thought it kind of wandered off in the middle, however after some more listens I've started to enjoy it more and ngl I think the entire album is going to stay in rotation for a long time
I feel like Dedicated has higher highs, but Emotion is more consistently good. Idk if one is really better than the other lol, other than Dedicated's production quality is ofc improved

No song on the album is bad, every single song that will seem "decent" can turn into your favorite eventually!! Ever since the release, all of the songs have been my favorite at least once!!
Happy Not Knowing is my favorite on the album and potentially in her entire collection! It's a great song about having feelings for someone but not wanting to address them for fear of messing things up. Definitely my most played from the album. Automatically in Love is also a stand out since the beginning. The one that has grown the most was Feels Right, I wasn't super into it in the beginning but now I love it!
