There is place for the chip, right near the blade is a cut-out space for the Transponder chip.
Car will not start with your new key until you find a way to fit the old transponder into it. That is the only part of the job that needs a video.
i rather go the other way...that blade key is the worst part of a volvo...
do you know if that's at all possible? i've checked forums and everything since it's something i'd very much like yo do but no luck finding anything
@@CrisNoHP ..i did mine and it fits n o issues ...but it did work before the battery change then now it wont work with a new battery... ..my 2006 s60 has a 2003 remote case only ... the blade key has a chip but i just put the key its self in my wallet if i get locked out ....
Waarom zeggen jullie niets over de transponder? Is een heel gedoe om deze over te zetten. Begin er niet aan. Met deze instructie alleen ben je nog niet klaar. Auto gaat nooit starten.
Good point. However, in this key model there is no place for the transponder and you have to make it separately. The film shows how to transfer electronics from one to another. There is no space for the transponder in the first key.
@@newcarkeysworld The transponder is in the rubber surround of the actual key blade. It can be cut out but has to be done VERY carefully :-D
@@newcarkeysworld Begin hier nooit aan! Omdat er geen plaats is voor de transponder in deze sleutel krijg je de boel nooit werkend. En ten tijde dat je daar achter komt heb je je originele sleutel al verwoest. Kortom: waardeloos!
What about the chip? That signal the msg to the car to unlock n stuff??
