It's definitely not the norm in terms of what skate content looks like, so backlash is to be expected, but I feel like this is where things are headed for the industry, especially for a platform like UA-cam. The subtle music makes it easy to focus on the skating and the raw, b-sides style of editing makes it very authentic. I respect you guys a lot for moving in this direction. Can't wait for more!

I actually can not believe the reactions I'm seeing to this video. This was beautiful people. Some art requires patience and an appreciation for the details. Watch this again with the mindset of this being a work of art rather than just a skate video and then tell me it didn't make you feel something.
Man, this is exciting skating to watch, antonio durao..... just wow, and miles silvas.... wow.... and rodrigo is still KILLING it, and obviously koston and guy too. Man what a great team, and looks like just friends out filming, great atmosphere.
The filming sure is relatable. As in when I want to film a trick, my friend is all, 'Oh, alright...' and then takes a seat a good 20 feet from the ledge I'm wanting to hit. I'll be like, 'Dude, no human tripod today, man, can't you just follow?' and he'll say, 'Do I have to? I'm tired, man'. Eventually I'll convince him to get off his ass and film me the proper way, only to find out he's never heard of filming from a low angle and is holding the camera like my dad when he's trying to look through the viewfinder. I'll politely ask him to hold it much lower, but then he'll say something like his back is hurting and waist-high is as low as he's willing to film. We'll try it anyway, but then even while keeping a good 10 feet distance he'll still manage to cut my board out the frame when I land, and eventually I'll just put my phone somewhere and settle for a stationary selfie shot.
Wasn't to hyped when i first heard the name, but I actually loved every second of this. Not often i don't look at my phone at all when watching a video. Looking forward to seeing more.

Whoever came up with the approach taken by this video is a genius. Definitely gives this brand character, special like the atmosphere set by Emerica videos, proper way to introduce a team. Can't recycle the same formula used by every company, this is skateboarding.
I cannot express how much more I would rather watch a Dime compilation than watch these two pretend to have fun. Having said that, Durao is a real good choice.
I think the direction of this video went over a lot of people's heads. Personally I think it's rad and artistic and def different from the norm in mainstream skateboarding videos. Keep it up.
