here the headman of the village get nothing in their hand regarding the fund for the development..the fund comes from the district council and others sources are in the management of the vigilance committee or through block development officer..
the headman and thier co workers or executive member serve the village for free theres no salary or anything for them..
so dont get it wrong..its definitely different from panchayati Raj that practice in different parts of our country..
