I know this ride has a lot of haters, but my son absolutely loves it, and growing up with Garfield I like it too. In 2018 they seemed to fix all the character movements, I hope everything works still in 2019. It won't be long until Kennywood re-themes the ride probably, so I and my son will get the most out of it while we can!
Sadly, the props were destroyed by order of Viacom as they didn't want them sold on the black market, and Kennywood had to record employees destroying the props to prove they complied with their demands.
Im a huge Garfield fan, and meh, this is alright. I wish there were animatronics, cause the dog, pizza tray etc are just puppets with strings. Honestly i wish universal orlando could get the licence so they could add something Garfield to their toon lagoon section, which is a cartoon/comic strip area with water rides.
I like this ride but I rode it one time and the jaw on the dog and pizza, the needle, and the spider were all broken, and the Old Mill sounds more interesting.
i got stuck on this ride i was wif my fam and we had to row by pushing on the sides almost geting our fingers riped off and we told the people and they didnt even care

does kennywood even HAVE any money for animatronics?? yes ghostwood estate but wat aboot garfields nightmare? did they think well look at it this way lets kill a old classic and replace it with some shitty ride about a comic book character with NO animatronics!! isent that great?!!?! the only animatronics u see are the pizza box, the fish, and the dog and they barley are animatronics anyway!! (run on strings or something!!)

thiss ride is an hour wasted from my time that i could be enjoying the rest of kennywood
this ride wasn't so entertaining, only scary about it is when you are in front and when going past the needle that air comes out of..
i live in pittsburgh and the rides not scary at all!!!!
