I ride a skateboard but every time I go to the skate park I see these groups of girls on their skates killing it. I talk to them a lot and they even asked me to join their group even if I'm skateboarding :) but I do feel left out since I don't have skates :( still saving. update- im proud to say that I finally saved up for skates and received them yesterday :D

I literally worked on slides untill well after dark at Fitzy today, then came home and saw this haha 😅 I love the sound the Cib blocks make when they hit the coping and slide! So much fun!

Granted, they said "late" Tuesday into Wednesday...but it may be starting early here. UGH! On the bright side, my local rink is open tonight, just got new skates, and can't wait...rain, snow, or not...I AM skating tonight one way or another!! LOL

I just LOVE your videos!! I have started skating again (I am 43 and used to skate all the time as a kid/teen) and your videos have helped me with technique and confidence! The roller rink by my house reopened recently and when I took my daughter I rented some skates as well!! I have been a handful of times and my skills are coming back....it is difficult for me to skate outdoors right now because I live in the Midwest and it is cold and rainy here. I'm about to purchase my own pair and I am super stoked to cruise around town this summer in style! Keep up the awesome work!!

fina is tired just continue to skate literally everyday! That’s what I did. I couldn’t even skate over cracks in the sidewalk the first few days. I had to work up to the asphalt street, it felt like the ground was vibrating under my feet. The more you do it the easier it all becomes. Also get pads if you’re afraid of falling! Once you fall a few times the fear of falling isn’t as bad. You’ve just gotta push yourself to do it Some of my favorite quotes rn “Be brave enough to suck at something new today” “Feel the fear and do it anyway”

always wear your safety gear!! also, when i started out, i started skating in my backyard. i totally recommend if you have a backyard with lots of concrete. you can practice tricks and get used to the skates on your feet with more confidence.

I went to my first roll out with a few ladies from CIB Orlando! I did my first hill bomb and skated 10 miles!!!! I’ve never really distance skated let alone keep track of how many miles I skate so it was super motivating with the other ladies they were all just so kind❤️😍

Hi @all, as a complete beginner in roller skating I am a bit confused about the terms "grind" and "slide". I have read that the difference between both in skateboarding is that you "grind" with your trucks and that you "slide" with the board. So how is it in roller skating? I have heard some people call these blocks below the skates "grind blocks" while here in this video they are called "slide blocks", same goes with the movements itself. Can someone shed some light on that?
freeline_n_taichi in rollerskating, sliding is using the block to slide across the coping on the space between your two trucks. grinding is when your feet are facing the opposite direction and you "grind" between your left and right wheels in between. cib makes trucks specifically for grinding and some people like to use wider trucks for this.

How do i find a cib group for beginners here close to huntington beach, CA? I am an average skater but got cib 103 vertex wheels n discoblox not even realizing til this video the vertex is for higher advanced ramps. I've never even tried bloks or anything at all to do w/sk8 park skills & I'm kind'a scared but still wanna learn.
My impala skates broke after a year of using, so I'm looking to get Moxi skates, but I also want to get the CIB blocks. Which size do I get for Moxi skates? what's the difference in the sizing? Thank you!!!!!!!
What if we don’t have this gear(sliders) can we still try this without? I’ve never skated at a skate park just at rink and in my driveway...I want to go try but...what do you recommend if we don’t have sliders? I just have riedell skates with 86 atom wheels.

Hehe no skates, we used to play ,roof,deck, dj, mountain, and have to roller skate to get their, last 1 goes off the rink, at skateland
