pleased to be 3rd even though i didnt predict the first couple games at the start. also i think i might be one of the only people to get malen own goal as first goalscorer in the world.
Own goals shouldn't count as first goalscorer in my opinion. They don't if you place a bet at the bookies. So in that game Gakpo should've been first scorer. And yes, I had Gakpo and am still bitter about it😂
@@guywilcox736 no i accidentally placed austria to score first and the first goalscorer to be Malen. It wouldve been wrong if i said Netherlands to score first and Malen but on accident i got it somehow.

I'm so angry at my country.
How can you call this a football team? They played so bad.
I don't like to say this, but we don't deserve to go through.
Now we have to play against France on the hard side of the tabel... instead of the easy side...

I think Austria will win it all. Topping what i believe was the hardest group. I’d like to say England could beat them, because I truly believe they can beat anyone. However I also think England could loose to anyone as well, so I doubt we’ll even get to play Austria

I love the way you pronounce footballers names (Fulkrug, Griezmann, etc), maybe for a future idea you can dedicate a whole video to saying footballers names, could be unique names or ones with lots of accents.

I’m optimistic about Switzerland’s chances but I think we must be organized on set pieces, I can’t see any Italian attackers scoring so we need to make sure the defenders don’t!
We also drew 1-1 with Austria in our last friendly before the tournament, so if we match up with them in the semi👀😂

For what it's worth, Slovenia beat Portugal 2-0 on their home soil a couple of months ago in a friendly. I'd really like to see Slovenia being more decisive. They may look like a weak 3rd place team, but when you think of the game against Serbia, where two points slipped away because of lack of focus, it makes you think what we can do if we give our all. I just hope for some interesting matches in the round of 16 and I hope Austria continue to impress. Always so fun rooting for the underdog (in terms of winning it all) and watching them put up a good performance.
Agreed. I believe Slovenia can cause an upset but they need to believe it themselves!

@@declanhardie9273 hope we win lol, i feel confident though. italy has played well against the swiss recently. comparing the two teams i feel like italy always had a better team assembled compared to the swiss also.

I hope England and Belgium don't get to the final if they don't improve, they are entertainment thieves at the moment.
France haven't been any better. Tournament favourites and they've scored twice- an OG and a penalty. Italy have been poor too. There's no way Belgium or England get to the final, I wouldn't be surprised if Slovakia beat us.
So far the entertainers are Austria but Portugal, Spain and Germany have been decent. Hoping for a shock or two in the knockouts

Knockout football is a different thing... teams like Italy know how to do it.. Germany Portugal Netherlands have leaders..teams like Spain have no leaders and experience.. Austria are the best team until now but I don't think they can go all the way

I went with 2-1 for Switzerland, 2-0 for Germany, 1-0 for england if they can manage not being boring this time, 2-1 Spain, 1-0 France and I feel this will be an own goal, 2-0 Portugal, 2-1 netherlands, and 1-0 turkyie because it seems that everything is going in turkyie's way
