🍒 How to dye your hair - Testing - Cerise Noire - Schwarzkopf Brillance range // Follow Lisa

I finally took courage into my own hands and decided to dye my hair! I couldn't resist the color on the package of Schwarzkopf Brillance Cerise Noire number 888, bought at Carrefour Segny in France for €8.50.
I would have loved it even more if the color had matched the packaging (more purple) but as it has definitely come out as a "black cherry" stain (cerise noire) I am still happy with the results.
UPDATE: I have now dyed my hair with this 3 times. The last time I left the color on for 30 minutes after finishing applying... it is nearly black now! So please just leave on for 20 minutes if you want the purple to show up.

You're so welcome! I have been using this color for one year and still love the effect. Just be careful to not exceed 20 minutes as at 30 it is much darker.

Let me tell you that blow-drying your hair is actually a good treatement. (When not blow-drying it upsidedown.)
The blowdryer closes the hair cuticles which also helps to keep the color pigments in the hair and make them softer, even shinier ☺️

I did black cherry from a good line to lol always do blue blacks so went out of my comfort zone

Oh contraire! It IS with ammonia. The ingredients lists sais it.
But let me tell you ammonia should be your first choice, when it comes to hair dye. Bc like alcohol it volatilities. This means a bad smell but also that you get rid of the ammonia. There are not enough longtime researches done yet, to be sure chemical replacements of ammonia do less harm. Especially when they can not volatilise.
Products advertising to be ammonia free kinda trick you pretending they are healthier.
Just make sure the room you dye your hair in us well aired.
