Wow this is GOLD. I don’t have the BMPCC 4K (yet) and I couldn’t stop watching. Very informative and useful. This should be the official video-manual for this camera. 🎉
After several years, this was still worth it. I just got a BMPCC and after watching this all, I was almost instantly ready to use the camera when it arrived, without reading a manual.
Can't believe I made it through the ENTIRE video! very informative! I learned so much..took me 2 days to watch it all the way through but I made it! THANK YOU
I just ordered the pocket 4k and sigma 18-35 today to upgrade my Canon M50 as I get serious about videography. This is already immensely helpful and I'm going to rewatch it when the camera arrives. Also your whole channel is fantastic content man!
I got the 4K a couple months ago and recently updated it. I've been itching to use it more and more. Especially with the new update and Gen 5 colour science so your video came at just the right time
Awesome! That's why I made this video because it seems like the P4k is still exploding in popularity. Wanted it to be a resource for every P4K creator!
Not problem at all! Glad it was that helpful for you! In doing this myself, I actually learned a few things that I didn't fully realize the camera could do.
This is what I listen to from now on when I go to bed. Hopefully one day I’ll wake up and everything makes sense like a puzzle that’s finally put together lol
I've owned my BMPCC for about 18 months now, so I'm quite well-versed in it, but I damn sure wish I had something like this when I first got it. Exceptional work man, you're going to make a lot of new owners very happy! Best
Same! I've noticed this year how many new p4k users their were and decided it was time to make it. Appreciate it though! Hoping to make one for the 6k pro as well
My brain hurts lol. Exactly what I needed though. Thank you all so much for making this video happen. It's highly appreciated. Keep up the amazing work.
Jesus man what a comprehensive and extremely nicely done video! i am currently thinking about what cinema camera to buy and this really helps in getting an impression of the cameras usability. many thanks!
Wow! I own two bmpcc 4ks and one 6k. Although, familiar with these cameras, this was, by far, the most detailed tutorial I have ever seen 😯Just got a new subscriber💯
Super in depth and helpful resource guys! Really really cool. We wish we had something similar when we ventured into the pocket camera line up back in the day. We shoot on 6K Pro's now with a lot of this would still apply. She's a lengthy video, but if people really want to sit down and learn, this is the perfect one stop shop.
Appreciate it! Moving my way up into the Pocket 6K Pro here soon! DM me on instagram @FrameVoyager, I want to get other channels involved in future videos so if you guys use pocket 6k pros would love to include you in some way!
From beginning to end I enjoyed the class thank you. I even watched the commercials hoping that you would get a break from all that talking great work champ. 🤣✨
Frame voyager I appreciate this so so much! I consider myself and everyone very very lucky who is planning to get this camera and want to learn more about it!
@@FrameVoyager definitely! I hate manuals and I learn by watching videos - this must’ve taken so long to put together, appreciate the time you put in to make this resource.
Working on it! Getting out there and getting experience with the camera next week. If this video does well, we will definitely be doing more of these including the 6K Pro and others.
Fantastic video! Thanks :) I wish the app would also show the viewport, but I guess I can hook it up to HDMI to an external screen and at the same time control the camera on the ipad.
Appreciate it! It helps doing all of this professionally so you learn how to be efficient, but it still was a fun edit haha. I actually don't remember editing parts of this video haha
😂 I needed several to make this hope it's useful! Tried to cover as much as I could but feel free to use it as a manual to if you ever have questions about specific features!
6K Pro is in the works! Give me about 1-2 months and I'll have one out for that as well. Just want some time with it before I make a masterclass for it!
Excellent video! thanks a lot for your help. I have a question. When using a gimbal, which is the best method in order to have enough power to be shooting for a long time? thanks very much.
Great video. I noticed during the video lots of comments of links in tg3 description but all I can find is links to the various chapters. Am I missing something?
I have not watched this yet, and I'm honestly not sure if I will watch the whole video, but I just wanted to say: Wow! That's some impressive effort and work. Respect!
Appreciate it! And not a problem! Honestly expected most people to use it to find exactly the info they want to learn more about. Some people have already watched the whole thing though 😂

I just ordered the pocket 4k and sigma 18-35 today to upgrade my Canon M50 as I get serious about videography. This is already immensely helpful and I'm going to rewatch it when the camera arrives. Also your whole channel is fantastic content man!
Sweet! It's definitely a change but you're going to love it! And appreciate you hanging out on the channel!
Dude, I'm literally doing the same thing hahahaha
M50 to pocket 4k lolol
I got the 4K a couple months ago and recently updated it. I've been itching to use it more and more. Especially with the new update and Gen 5 colour science so your video came at just the right time
Awesome! That's why I made this video because it seems like the P4k is still exploding in popularity. Wanted it to be a resource for every P4K creator!
Awesome! I just directed my first short in Melbourne and your videos have convinced me to get the BM 4K for my future stuff. Great work.
Great to hear! BMD should really sponsor me right? haha. Good luck on getting the camera, it's really a great one!
What a masterfully in depth video..! Woah! Learned so much and I've had the camera for a year 😆 Guys, thanks so much for this 🙏🙏
Not problem at all! Glad it was that helpful for you! In doing this myself, I actually learned a few things that I didn't fully realize the camera could do.
Excellent work my friend, your effort is appreciated 🙌🏾
Appreciate it!
Thanks for people like you, truly helpful and well done!

@@FrameVoyager Yah for sure! I'll send you one right now.

Pure gold for a speculative buyer of the Pocket 4K.
My hat's off to you guys. I don't even wanna know how long you worked on that video with scripting, recording and post production. Insane!

Fantastic video! Thanks :) I wish the app would also show the viewport, but I guess I can hook it up to HDMI to an external screen and at the same time control the camera on the ipad.
I wish so too! Would be helpful haha. Glad this was a good resource for you!
Great video
Thank you
No problem! Hope it helps!
This must have been a herculean effort to film and edit...but thank you so much for all the hard work and getting all this info out there!
Appreciate it! It helps doing all of this professionally so you learn how to be efficient, but it still was a fun edit haha. I actually don't remember editing parts of this video haha
I’ll need a huge coffee for this one. BRB!
😂 I needed several to make this
hope it's useful! Tried to cover as much as I could but feel free to use it as a manual to if you ever have questions about specific features!
Awesome, thanks !! BMPCC6K tutorial soon ?
6K Pro is in the works! Give me about 1-2 months and I'll have one out for that as well. Just want some time with it before I make a masterclass for it!
Excellent video! thanks a lot for your help. I have a question. When using a gimbal, which is the best method in order to have enough power to be shooting for a long time? thanks very much.
Good video sharing
great review, this is the official unofficial pocket 4k video manual
Appreciate it! Maybe a Black Magic Design sponsorship is right around the corner 👀😂
Awesome job... thx
Appreciate it! Hope it of use to you!
Great video. I noticed during the video lots of comments of links in tg3 description but all I can find is links to the various chapters. Am I missing something?
Awesome
Discontinuing the T5 is a real screw-job by Samsung with such a popular camera. Sandisk did the same with the few SD cards that worked w/ BMPCC OG.
It really is... I love those SSD's
"The upper right hand of your screen"
That moment you say right and then hit left....
😅 whoops
@@FrameVoyager I think you get a pass for one mistake in a 2hr video LOL.
Also, the video is VERY helpful, thanks!
