A few days later, one pair escaped :( We felt very sad but my brother said me " Don't worry! If this pair breeds, we will get more budgies!". Still I was very sad. A month ago, we started breeding the budgies and now we got 4 baby budgies! I am so happy! The best thing in the pair which escaped is we did not have to get another cage and nest box! Whatever, Salvador Budgie, can you please help me out? I don't know why my male budgie is attacking the baby budgies. I am doing everything for them, food, water, etc. but still he his attacking them.

Hey everybody thanks for all these videos I need help with something that I'm having a problem with every time I go to cover my budgie at night she keeps jumping in and out of her perch where she sleeps it's a toy that looks like a circle that she like to sleep in I know the nights have been really warm because the summertime and has been hot I don't know if she likes to cover that I use it's just the bed sheet not her usual cover which is too heavy I don't know what to do here she has her moments where she goes to sleep and then she wakes up and starts jumping around again and I have to have the air conditioning on because it gets very warm but I'm also very careful with that I make sure that the air conditioner is not blowing on her if anybody has any advice or suggestions please let me know I feel so bad for her and I don't know what's wrong with her I have her going on 4 years already
After my cockatiel died I bought two young budgies, supposedly males but too young to really know yet. I suspect one is female. I put them in separate cages because one draws blood from the other. They have seeds and I am trying to get them to eat broken up pellets. Also they have greens every day. However they throw their seeds all over the cage floor with their feet and their beaks. I have seed trays, also feeders and tipping toys, but they always empty them. most seeds i end up throwing to the wild birds. Will they starve themselves. They seem to be picking out one grain.
Well,I always wanted a pet to have and finally i got a pair of budgies at 13 of march.But i didn't notice that the male budgie i got had mites and had cutten feathers.When the mites have processed i told to my parents to get him to the vet.But they didn't agree and they just went to a pet store and asked for a bird mite treatment to buy.The pet store owner told them to bathe him on dettol every day and then give him the treatment.But we all know that dettol is toxic for birds right?My parent told me he will be fine and good if we do this thing.I couldn't dk do anything other else so i was doing this every day and at the 5th day of this...I woke ul in the mornig at july 16 and i saw him at the bottom of the cage but i thought he was doing this because he was scared but i thought wrong,30 minutes later,I saw he died...I was very very sad and i was crying for all of the day...R.I.P Jiimmy the budgie! And I have 3 budgies now April,Jimmie's friend,Ice a budgie i got later and Summer,who came from our garden and we caught her.Both of them have mites too from Jimmy,but my parents still don't agree to get the to the vet...

Ummm I have two budgies and they LOVE seeds. I try to give them vegetables and fruit, their only favorites is broccoli, apples, a tiny bit of carrot, a LOT of lettuce and a boiled egg. They have toys like a block toy (blocks that hanged on thick rope) and a mirror to with bells under it. Their can is pretty big, the roof is flat and shaped like a Pentagon and I think the width is around 45cm long. They also have a few perches, we have one that's like a big swing with some perches. They like to scratch their beaks on wood and eat paper I don't know if that's a good thing. The height of the cage is kind of tall.... it's higher than the width though. I sometimes bring them into my living room. They don't have any cuttlefish bones though, I don't know if I need it. Am I taking good care of my budgies?????

@@Bird-Nuggets Hi..My budgies flew outside the house and now it’s impossible to find them since i live in an apartment…On a higher level..they can’t fly back to me either..One looked like skip while the other looked like neo. Its really difficult to get over the fact that your flurry friend is not with you anymore… Its been a month and I can’t stop worrying about them…I loved them alot and hope to see them again..😭
After THOROUGHLY checking the ENTIRE room for potential safety hazards, and making sure it can't accidentally get out of an open window or door, maybe put it's food and water in containers on top of the cage or just outside of the entrance (or remove the food, and use millet sprays or other treats) temporarily, and leave the cage open. At first, watch it from across the room, so it will hopefully feel safe enough to exit the cage and go to the food/treat and/or water when desired. It might take a little while for it to notice where the food and water are now, and how it can get to them, so this method will require careful monitoring (from a non-imposing distance) and may require multiple tries, as well. If it doesn't figure it out soon enough, just put the food and water back in the cage and try again another time, so it won't go hungry or thirsty. : )

You can spray water on top of them with a spray bottle
I don't recommend spraying it because some bird rly hate it and can hate bathing even more

My birds used to not drink tap water so I changed to fresh drinking water and now they drink water well
