@@Matthew_Y Well, archers were buff in history, too. Drawing a bow (which is how you get range and killing power) requires you to be stronk (and also the bow to be made from good and flexible material).

Most people forget that Hercules used a bow and was very talented at it. Best strength archer.
Archery is a very strength-y thing to begin with. It's really just within videogame logic that archers are frail dex-y characters.
