You are an excellent teacher Tiffany. You teach as if the student has never touched the ruler or sewed before.
…and for international people that is actually awesome, because inches are not our first language! Asking me to measure 3 3/8” a year ago would have yielded this face 🫤.
I try to make everything easier to understand 😊
Grandma here plans on making a Dozen of these cute 🥰 little packs‼️❤️
That's great 👍
Thank you Tiffany this was a great pattern I just made one for my granddaughter will post picture on the Facebook page
Wonderful 😊
Thanks Tiffany for the great tutorial on this cute backpack.. I made 2 today .. great gifts for a lil girl
Glad you got to make some already 😊
@@TiffanysQuiltingLife Everything was pretty easy you made the tutorial very easy to follow. The only thing I had a little trouble with was the binding in the inside. I have a lot of arthritis in my hands so it made it a little tough to sew that in but I got it .. it’s not perfect, but it looks a lot better than leaving the cut edges open.
I'm glad it was easy to follow. And I feel ya on the arthritic pain in the hands putting in the binding. But I bet yours came out super adorable and will be loved 😍
@@TiffanysQuiltingLife good evening, boy o boy is it hot out in Havasu.. my nephew who has a vacation house on oro granda is out there now and said it’s hot and going to get hotter ..🥵 hope you guys have good air conditioning.. my sister and I are hoping to get out that way in October or November beautiful weather by then .. I’ve made a few more lil backpacks.. they are so cute .. giving lil gift to some of my lil friends.. they love them .. stay cool
@SherrieSherman yup its hot here. We have good ac 😆 I don't mind going outside though when it's hot. And whenever I need I have many friends with pools I can go jump in 😄
I'm glad your enjoying making the bags. I made one today as well. It's the perfect little gift.
❤❤❤. I love it, thank you so much for showing everyone how to make this. You are so detailed in your teaching and explaining the "how to" do each step, makes it easier for us visual learners😊
You are so welcome!
Oh..Tiffany you solved our crisis....my niece is diabetic and has to have her insulin pump carried with her everywhere...she's a tiny thing and this is perfect!!!!!!!!
That's great 👍
You make it look so easy, Tiffany. Making the pattern looks like the hardest part.
Ya it's pretty easy once the template is made 👌
Excellent tutorial, Tiffany! You made it look so easy! Thank you.
It's pretty easy 😊
This would be great sized up. I just might have to make one!! Great job, glad to see you sewing again!
You should!
Tiffany, the voice is appropriate because the ‘backpack purse,’ is just as cute as can be. It’ll be a great Christmas gift for a teen, or tween, for holding their makeup, or do-dads, as they’re mostly on the go! It will also be a great gift for ages 3- 8, or so. They may like it as they imagine theirselves being a ‘big girl’ and copying their mom’s! And even for a mom on the go for a few small things that may not fit into their full diaper bags. It would be adorable in matching fabric for other love-made gifts from grandma’s! Christmas excitement is in the air! Thanks so very much for your great videos!
Thank you 😊
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!!!! Thank you for putting the text on the screen x very helpful to us visual learners 😘😘😘
You are so welcome!
Perfect pattern and instructions. I wrote out steps for my 13 years old granddaughter and we followed them together. The only mistake we made was we did not make sure the sipper pull was on the inside of the bag while we were sewing. She made this for her American Girl doll. We will be making more for sure! Thank you!!!
That's great 👍 glad you had time with your granddaughter to make this.
Tiffany, you are such a good teacher, so thorough! Thanks for sharing this adorable bag. Would be cute for my great granddaughter to carry her dolly in 😊
Thanks 😊
Super cute! I’ll rewatch and make these for my granddaughters
Tiffany, you are the ultimate teacher! You have inspired me. Going to my stash now to pick out what I am going to use to make these cute bags.
Yay! Thank you!
That's adorable! It would make a great gift for granddaughters!
Oh my! You’re an excellent teacher. The patients you have are awesome. That was a fantastic video. Thank you so much. Very easy to understand. Stay safe, stay blessed!
Thank you 😊
Cute!! I'm not a bag person but think I might try this for my granddaughters to use for snack bags 🙂
Great idea!!
Those are so cute. I need to watch the tutorial several times
It's pretty easy to make 😊
Tiffany, you are an awesome teacher!!! Thank you.

Hey, it’s Deby from Virginia and you’re awesome
Super cute! Thank you
Funny that you popped that up for dolls toward the end because that was my first thought...I'm gonna make one for my granddaughter for her dolls :) Super cute.
Ya I didn't think of it till my daughter said something haha
I made this so stinking cute. Giving it to my granddaughter (25 years old) she has a collection of back packs. Lol going to try it again as the batting was to thick.
This little backpack is adorable 🪡💖 Thank you for sharing this with everyone. You are a awesome teacher.
Thank you so much!
Hi Tiff, that was awesome. Excellent explanations and instructions. Beautiful little bag🥰 Thanks for all you do. 💙❤️🇦🇺
Thank you so much 😊
Tiffany, Thank you so very much for this adorable mini backpack pattern. I love it, but I also need to share with you. I am making a diaper bag for my friend's daughter for her doll. I was trying to figure out how to do the zipper attachment, and you showed me how in this video. the diaper bag is not a backpack, but the zipper attachment is sewn in the same way. as well as inside binding. You are awesome. I know I should have remembered this but having wonderful friends like you to remind me is a true treasure. I will also make several of these mini backpacks too as the directions were easy to follow. I took notes as you demonstrated the process. God Bless you Tiffany for all the wonderful things you teach us. I have been keeping you in my prayers for healing. I pray you are doing much better since your surgery.
Thank you 😊 and yes I am getting better each day. I'm not 100% normal but that can take up to 6 months doc said. I will get there. I just keep up with my therapy and I should be able to sew longer and get more done soon enough 😊
I love this! I'm going to try to make these for my granddaughters.
Can’t help but love you Miss Tiffany and Ironman 💕💕🥰🥰🌻🌻
Love the cute little backpack and when I come here me from my holiday and am go and TRY and make one or two or maybe three
You'll have fun 👍
Glad to see you are managing to sit at your machine again for this project! ❤. This backpack is very adorable indeed👏🏻🤗
Yes I am getting there and able to sit longer and longer. And I can use my knee lift now.
@@TiffanysQuiltingLife Good to hear, Tiffany! You are a warrior going through surgery and recovery and still finishing hand sewn quilt etc while laid up and dosed up with meds🤗👩🏻🦽

So many uses for this super cute bag. Love the fabrics you used for both packs!
Thank you! 😊
This is so darn cute! I am usually not interested in making bags. So, I wasn’t even going to watch. But Oh my word! What a cute little bag! I am so glad I watched! I’m actually going to make this one for my granddaughter! Oh it is so darling! Thank you for teaching this one!
You are so welcome!
This is a great video. Thanks Tiff

Enjoyed the video. I will have to make one.
Great job,❤
Thank you so much for such clear instructions and such a cute pattern I will definitely have to try this out. I think I will make in Xmas fabric and use for 'wrapping' little gifts
Good idea 😊
That's friggin cute!!
Great tutorial!!
Very nice!
Thanks!
Thank you ❤️
Thank you for this adorable bag how to…I’m going to get on this and make it. Have a great weekend.
Thank you! You too!
love it SOO much !!! Thank you for sharing this
Thanks 😊
Too-oo cute, ❤ it!
Tiffany!!! That is so pretty. On my project list, for sure. Recently received my Fb account back so sent a join request. 😎
🦋🦋🦋
Got it!
I have several teddy bears that need these. I bet it would work best if I cut the binding on the bias? Tiffany, maybe, now make a full sized one! I would love to make some for my grands.
You could use bias binding. The strips bend pretty easy around though. I wanted to be able to only utilize just 2 fat quarters and keep this as easy as possible 😊
So darn cute.
So stinking cute
Wow, your machine is just fantastic, there is no way my Quilters Choice machine could go through all those layers!! it panics at binding on a quilt!!!
Ya this machine is what most refer to as a semi-industrial. I have tried a bag on my brother machine and it struggles with layers too.
This is so cute. I noticed that you used an invisible zipper.
Yup, gotta use the invisible zippers up on something lol they were accidentally ordered so I still have a bunch. Then we will order the right kind 😄
So so cute! My stash is going to be minus 2 fat quarters.
😄
Both my youngest son and I are both diabetics on insulin pumps. This would be great to carry extra supplies with us.
So stinking cute . I forget to tell you how pretty your hands are. Your face as well❤
Oh thank you!
I would have cut one 5" x 11" piece of shape flex 101 and then fused on to 5" x 11" fabric then cut the 1 1/4" strips. Much easier in my mind. Cute project.
Tiffany could you show us how to do a big pack pack? I love this video but would love to make one for me. Thank you so much for this…..
I have to make up some measurements to do a bigger one. But it will be done in the hopefully near future.
I just completed one out of faux leather, and it was not for the faint of heart.....lol but came out amazing.
Oh wow! That's great 👍
Morning Tiffany and Scott, I bet you dream about quilting 😂. Love your tutorials. What is the line of that print, love it, thanks
I don't know the line cause there wasn't anything on the selvage. The brown was a Kaufman fabrics though.
Can you make it a little bigger
I plan to make a bigger version. I have to get the math right
❤❤❤
so tiny! ❤
Could you use foam bonsai or would it be too stiff?
It would be stiff, you could probably use thinner foam or interface the pieces before quilting.
❤
I was thinking a cactus
