Ha, ha, 😂 so true Roger, thankfully no holes in the boat or me yet. The Shetland coastline allows so much scope together with a wonderfully varied coastline. Thanks for your comments and hope you enjoy more of my video's, please feel free to browse. Best Regards Geoff
Thanks Dog, much appreciated. It was a fun packed day and everyone made great use of the conditions 👍 As I mentioned, I keep getting asked to explain some techniques/pitfalls of rockdodging, I only hope my explanations weren't irritating to the more experienced kayakers out there! Cheers again Geoff
Hi David thanks for your great comments as usual. It can happen to us all in a split second, thankfully it sounds like you made a good recovery and came out unscathed...excellent work! I was recently showing someone inside a cave and as I was backing out whilst turning the swell dropped away, leaving me hung up by the bow and stern and the only thing I could do was skull for support until the next wave unhooked me, hip flicking back up to then back right out otherwise I'd have been stuck upside-down. Sh*% happens 😂
@@davidpoots8362 Ouch!! That's sounds like remarkably bad luck, but again, that incident tests our resolve, skill and Ingenuity to overcome which often results in hilarity 😂😂👍 Keep up the good work. I enjoy watching the real mix of craft you are having fun with on the sea !!
'Rock hopping', a thing of beauty when you get it right. A thing of expense when you get it wrong!

Crossing the reef is really fun.
We also like to play this way in the northeastern corner of Taiwan. It’s just that your rocks are even bigger.
Thanks, yes its so much fun!! Your surf looks good too 👍👍
Great fun and as usual good skills. I got my timing badly wrong this summer and had to roll up in a tight gap. Lesson learned (maybe).

It certainly does, my worst moment was upside down in a cave and a carabiner punctured the hull, oh how we laughed @@geoffburke
