My favorite deck! Nice build variant, by the way. I have a build that uses Kaijus and the Odd-Eyes Advance Dragon with some the Monarch cards that surprises my opponents often. But my main Monarch deck looks like this: Monsters 2x Edea 2x Eidos 2x Mithra 2x Ancha 2x Ehther 2x Erebus 3x Majesty 1x Vanity 1x Mega Thestalos 1x Jinzo (for Labrynth and Evenly) or another Vanity Spells 3x Pantheism 3x Domain 3x Tenacity 3x Stormforth 2x Change of Hearts 1x Return 1x March 1x Called by the Grave or One for One 1x Burial 1x Duster Traps 1x Escalation or Royal Decree (for Labrynth and Evenly) 1x Erupt 1x Prime
@Japheth123078 , you know that Monarchs have a hard time going second. So, the only thing I've figured to make it better when going second is with Kaijus (Stormforth or Change the opponent's Kaiju after using Interrupted or after "Kaijuing" your opponent) or by using Bystials (if no DARK or LIGHT monsters on your opponent's GY, I use Foolish or One for One for Eidos/Edea/Ehther/Erebus) as tribute materials or tribute summoning them. Once the toxic Kasthiras arrive, I'll be trying Fenrir with all combinations.
@@Timeater Yes I've been playing Monarchs even before Master Duel. Back in my early years before all this meta craps and before Ehther and Erebus exists, I like going second with my Monarchs. I'm also waiting for Kashtiras and Time Rendering Morganite. Right now my only solution for going second is Evenly Match and Lightning Storm for Board Breaking and Maxx C to avoid bricking. I did use Kaiju once on my build but given that these meta formats can summon multiple monster negates on the field, it kinda tough getting around it not unless i'm using my Kaiju or 8 Axis deck. I like using Vanity's Fiend with my Monarch. It prevents them from special summoning at the same time stalling to get the right cards in my hand.
