Yilan was one tough cookie! I loved how hard and resolute she was in dealing with these backstabbing betrayers. The two most important men in her life that she loved with her heart and soul and they betrayed her in the worst way. That's disgusting! They schemed and plotted against her and said it was for own good. Well she played them well and showed them how strong she really was. I'm glad to know that she had strong backers supporting her. The Emperor, the Empress, her female attendant, her loyal troop, and the townspeople of L City. They were disgusted by these two and knew everything they did to hurt the general. Karma came for them and i'm happy. Little brother will be getting a cold reception by everyone, including Yilan, in L City for his betrayal when he went back. As for the lying, cheating scumbag ex Wen Yan, what a libertine! He got what he deserved. I would have liked Yilan to have married another general who didn't need kids and loved her and fought with her side by side. She deserved a better partner.
I hope this is a good story, first one here today 🤞🤞it’s not a bad story, again of betrayal, revenge and a point of no return … not exciting, not too boring, just okay for a cold Saturday early morning
I don’t understand why Chu Tang felt the need to go get Yilan back. If the other sister could marry Wen Yen and have a child, their families are still linked. Since YiLAn was willing to leave, he should have just let his sister go.
So her stupid brother betrayed her for her evil stepsister and scum-bag brother-in-law because he thought that she didn't earn her place as a General? What a piece of garbage.
I think the dialogue abt red eyes is hilarious. "Did our general save your entire family? Everytime u see her, its like u got an eye infection." 😂😂😂

I hope you enjoy the next story❤❤❤
This is somewhat bittersweet 💙
What became of the scheming halfsister and the baby?
Yixuan was sent away. Supposedly the baby was "sent away" as well but it could mean that the baby was aborted as well. It's hard to say.
