Pt Vishwa Mohan Bhatt is one of the few greatest musicians of our times whose contribution to the field of both Indian Classical Music & World Music is indeed immense .
He belongs to a family in Jaipur ( Rajasthan) which has been serving Indian Classical Music for more than 300 years now .
Now being considered as a Legend by himself Pt.Bhatt is more significant as He has created and instroduced a new instrument called : Mohan-Veena in the world.
Mohan-Veena has thus opened up some new vistas , new scope and new possibiliities both for Indian classical as well as for World Music .
In the last 50 years, he has been invited to perform in almost all the prestigious music festivals and concerts being organized in different parts of the world. He has performed in more than 80 countries so far.
Pt Vishwa Mohan Bhatt has been honoured with Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri, Grammy ( for the album : A MEETING BY THE RIVER with ace guitarist Mr.Ry Cooder in 1994) and the Sangeet Natak Academy awards.
HE is also the recipient of Music Scientist, Rashtriya Tansen Samman, Tantri Samrat, Rajasthan Ratna and Golabal Music Awards .
MIT University of Pune has conferred "Bharat Asmita" award upon him. Sanskriti Sangstha in Dubai had conferred him BHARAT GAURAV AWARD lately .
On 7th May,2022, Vivekanand Global university, Jaipur conferred "Honourary Doctorate of Philosophy" upon Him .

Pandit Subhen Chatterjee is surely amongst the best known tabla players of India today .
Basing his style of playing to Lucknow Gharana or the school of tabla playing which he has learnt from his illustrious guru Tabla Legend PANDIT SWAPAN CHOWDHURI ...Subhen ji has incorporated many other interesting aspects & beauties of other schools of tabla playing and thus has made his style of playing distinctively unique & different from others .
Pandit Chatterjee has been touring and performing for nearly 40 years now in all parts of the world and , other than being a great soloist , has the rare distination of accompanying such greats as Pt.Bhimsen Joshi, Vidushi Girija Devi , Pt.Jasraj, Vidushi Shobha Gurtu , Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Pt.Rajan- Sajan Mishra and many others .
Pt Chatterje is also considered as one of the leaders of the World Music movement in India with His bands KARMA which he formed way back in 1985 .
He is also a regular performer in WOMAD ( World Organizations of Music and Dance ) formed by ace guitarist Mr Peter Gabriel .
Pt Chatterje has also been conferred with many awards such as Jadu Bhatta Award and the most coveted SANGEET SAMMAN AWARD in 2020 by the West Bengal Govt .
His album ARTISTRY had been nominated for GRAMMY MUSIC AWARDS in 2002 and in 2012 his name was included into Guinness Book of World Records when He composed and performed in Jorhat ( Assam ) a single piece non-stop for 55 minutes with 315 Musicians on the stage .
