Its weird for some reason when I try the AMD Fidelity trick for some reason I almost end up with a couple fps less even compared to being on (High/Low settings that you run). When I apply the settings are all in place and the Fidelity remains checked but it acts almost like its not even activated.
Hmm INSTTEERREeESTTTinnGGGGg. If you have a higher end computer that could be the case but im Actually not 100% on that. Good to know and glad you still got them FPS gainz :)
Make sure you trick the game into letting you enable AMD FSR without Remastered/Ultra. I've got it enabled with High/Low and it increased my performance quite a bit.
In my opinion I need to upgrade my CPU to really feel an absolute difference, but it definitely helped to smooth the game out. Of course I can just play on medium or low but I like good looking games. Edit: I made some tweaks on w10 and I've changed the game to exclusive fullscreen with fullscreen optimizations on w10. Super smooth 75 fps (monitor refresh rate) compared to almost 70 before the edit. Plus with no fps drops at all, thanks.

Ayy whatup Therspage! I have a 5950x for a CPU which is overkill and not needed but I do other thingz on my PC as well. My GPU is a 3080ti Which is mainly better if I want to use remastered and you can get good frames with a lower tier GPU. My motherboard is an Asus x570e Gaming wifi 2. Ayy whatup Piffi , Yeah thats kind of the price of using the AMD FSR settings. You can try setting it to the "quality" sub setting right below it in settings to see if it helps. But overall it will make it blurry for more frames bc it is a scaling type of tech within the game. I only recommend it if you need to use it to get more Frames! Its not the best haha

On another note my game wont go above my refresh rate 144htz. I hava a g-sync comp monitpr but even w/o v-sync. All g-sync functions turned off on my pc and monitor software i still don't go above 143-144 in game indepentant of window fscreen or Fscreen. Allso settings dont matter as when i turn on potato pvp mode it still wont budge above said fps. Any tips here bud?
@@piffi9431 So If I understand what you are saying correctly is that unless you are in Full screen it wont go above 144hz/fps? That is build into I believe the windows OS by design. With Full screen it will allow you to go beyond the Cap of your monitors refresh rate. I Heard in windows 11 they updated it where you can go beyond that limit in windowed modes but I have no clue about that honestly haha. Google would probably be your best friend there :)

Don’t turn V sync off if you have freesync and g sync the only way to actually properly use both of them is by enabling v sync it has a completely different function when using G sync and actually improves latency and FPS dramatically because even though NVIDIA says it’s Vsync it’s actually just how you enable gsync
that's just plain false. G-sync and V-sync work perfectly without each other. That's an option to enable them both but you will get small latency combined. It is now recommended to enable g-sync cap fps and disable v-sync in general. There is a lot of research behind this for some reason (idk, people don't have anything to do). g-sync + v-sync is old technology.
Nice video man i went from 110 with microstutters once in a while to around 144 (my monitors cap ) Thanks alot. One question though will these setting put more of a strain on your pc or no? Im just curious if you know.
Ayyy whatup whatup Chris! This will put a slight more bit of strain on your PC yes due to more power consumption. With more power means alil bit more wear and tear on some parts but it isnt anything I would be overly concerned with. I have been doing this with my PC for over a decade and havent seen negative effects as long as you dont mind alil increase in power haha. I will say I upgrade about every 6-7 years. As long as you take care of your parts with normal cleaning and shutdown procedures you should be SOLID no worries :) Thank you for checking out the video and glad it helped you out yeah yeah!

@@raito1999 Hey Raito whatup! Actually you can get more FPS! By following the guide and making sure you are in Full screen you should see an FPS improvement beyond 60 depending on your Hardware. Though there is a catch with everyone pushing FPS... your monitors refresh rate limits overall what you will see. In your Case 60HZ means your laptop refreshes 60 times per second and thus will only ever show 60FPS. By having the ability to have more FPS though, this will help to make your gameplay feel more fluid! The reasoning is bc you are guaranteeing you are maximizing your 60HZ with no skipped frames. So You can get more FPS yes but your monitor will never show more then 60 haha. You would have to upgrade to see drastic improvements. @@infinitecrimzon nope, you're wrong. there is no way to unlock fps on a laptop with dual (integrated with cpu and dedicated gpu) gpus due to the fact that the screen is bound to the integrated gpu. the only way to have more fps on a laptop in bdo is to buy an external monitor with higher refresh rate, or just have a laptop with a higher refresh screen. but its unfortunately an issue that every laptop owner that plays bdo has to deal with and it's so annoying.

LOL So when you get the debloater program go to the tweaks section and click on the desktop or laptop preset near the top depending on what you are using. Then in the bottom Right is should have a button saying Run Tweaks. Will take a few min then once its done you are good to go no worries! Hope it gets you alil more FPS :)

haha I LIKE IT! 2k monitors are Nizeee for sure pinkowl. Keep your textures on High and gradually raise your settings to get something you find to be a good compromise of performance and aesthetics! Low works well for me in terms of preference while getting the most FPS I can :D

@@RevertantChip DAMEE you saw that much consistency in frames? 0-o I only even now see that much FPS when I am not grinding heavily dense mob areas and sometimes in cities ( usually I am ) LOL. In all fairness nah your dont really have to change around alot with your computer to get more performance out of it. I would say even just doing your NVIDIA settings and stopping a few programs you would see good results. Heck even my guide doesnt go through everything. There is still a few more thingz we could do to optimize but its just to get minimal more frames.

Youre the second youtuber that recommends disabling gsync/freesync which makes no sense, it removes tearing and increases smoothness and framerate and you can use both together for quite a while now. Also both of you didnt even give one argument why you want ppl to disable gsync.
Fair enough Adam. So what does gsync and freesync do... essentially it tries to link the rendering of frames together with all your hardware. Can it make it seem more smooth sure, reduce tearing I would agree. But Increase framerate HELLL NOOO bc it limits your GPU to sync with other hardware. And as for the smoothness and tearing.... its only for really low FPS. Most people wont notice tearing and much difference in smoothness with fast paced games like BDO. From my experience and what I have done for not only myself but friends and family over the years... having them off has always been better for more FPS. In fast paced games FPS is TOP of what you want. Now if it was something where it is slower gameplay and you want smooth interactive Flawless motion then I would agree! But gysnc is more of a limitation on your hardware that could be good in certain situations but not in Black Desert :) Hope that helps
@@infinitecrimzon very true. BDO is definitely not g-sync/free-sync friendly and anyone who looks up optimization for BDO knows to turn it off to actually play the game. It's a lot smoother even though g-sync/free sync is very good for other games. Sadly, spending 400$ or more for g-sync monitor and just turning it off is a big waste. PA/KaoKao or whatever the company was just didn't make a good foundation of the game engine. It sucks and it will never be fixed and this game has been around for almost a decade and nothing.

@@oguzhanbulut5209 First thing I would do is turn off "Game mode" in windows. You can search in windows start menu and make sure its turned off! Make sure your computer is all up to date. Type power in start menu and click power and sleep settings, additional power settings, and make sure you are on the highest performance. In your game settings go to optimization under performance and disable Performance optimization To make sure your RAM isnt over utilized. See is this helps at first! Also if you can keep your task manager open to see if your cpu has high utilization, if so you might have to close some programs as BDO can be quite intensive!
@@oguzhanbulut5209 Use "High Performance mode", if your cpu still in 65W TDP i suggest your increase into 110W -120W or you can under volt your cpu into -100m.

I just got back into the game and i can't get more than 60fps not 61 not 62 just 60 on every single setting

TLDR; get a 1440p monitor and your game will look fine even on low settings.

Youre the second youtuber that recommends disabling gsync/freesync which makes no sense, it removes tearing and increases smoothness and framerate and you can use both together for quite a while now. Also both of you didnt even give one argument why you want ppl to disable gsync.
Fair enough Adam. So what does gsync and freesync do... essentially it tries to link the rendering of frames together with all your hardware. Can it make it seem more smooth sure, reduce tearing I would agree. But Increase framerate HELLL NOOO bc it limits your GPU to sync with other hardware. And as for the smoothness and tearing.... its only for really low FPS. Most people wont notice tearing and much difference in smoothness with fast paced games like BDO. From my experience and what I have done for not only myself but friends and family over the years... having them off has always been better for more FPS. In fast paced games FPS is TOP of what you want. Now if it was something where it is slower gameplay and you want smooth interactive Flawless motion then I would agree! But gysnc is more of a limitation on your hardware that could be good in certain situations but not in Black Desert :) Hope that helps
@@infinitecrimzon very true. BDO is definitely not g-sync/free-sync friendly and anyone who looks up optimization for BDO knows to turn it off to actually play the game. It's a lot smoother even though g-sync/free sync is very good for other games. Sadly, spending 400$ or more for g-sync monitor and just turning it off is a big waste. PA/KaoKao or whatever the company was just didn't make a good foundation of the game engine. It sucks and it will never be fixed and this game has been around for almost a decade and nothing.

How to fix fps shuttering
Hmmm that depends! What are your specifications for your GPU and CPU and how much RAM ? That will give me an Idea of where to start :)

@@oguzhanbulut5209 First thing I would do is turn off "Game mode" in windows. You can search in windows start menu and make sure its turned off! Make sure your computer is all up to date. Type power in start menu and click power and sleep settings, additional power settings,
and make sure you are on the highest performance. In your game settings go to optimization under performance and disable Performance optimization
To make sure your RAM isnt over utilized. See is this helps at first! Also if you can keep your task manager open to see if
your cpu has high utilization, if so you might have to close some programs as BDO can be quite intensive!
